I want to know this as well. It looks tricky because to get the full use of one magic school you need three ring slots for their respective spell rings (spell boost, greater spell bost, [element]-clutch), but I'm wondering if just going bellowing, witch, and sun's firstborn rings might suffice. Plus definitely throw in the sage ring to cap spell speed. That onyl leaves FP consumption as a problem since all your spells use the same FP-pool. There's one weapon upgrade path that grants you some FP-regen per second, but it sounds slow with no other means to passively regenerate. There's also the dusk crown ring which reduces FP-consumption, but you already have your ring slots full probably. Also juggling catalysts, but I figured that one out in DS2, though there are some hybrid catalysts I'd like to know more about.

I preferred DaS2's Hollowing process and mental deterioration over the snippets you see of it in DaS1. Only complaint is that in DaS2, the hollowing NPCs either don't finish before you beat the game (Cale) or completely fuck off on you rather than letting you fight a hollowed version (Lucatiel)
