I wasn't alluding to him being played as support, strictly as a top laner. Having a top lane tank/anti-carry is risky when his most important dueling ability is countered by a cheap item. Koreans aren't dumb enough to have clown fiesta drafts like NA so they'll usually go up against comps where the enemies only have 3-4 spells at max that need to be cleansed.
