I find stonewalling them works pretty well. I don't mean going, uh huh ok etc. I mean not acknowledging that someone is speaking to you. It's really hard to do the first few times, but if you're forced to be in close contact with a genuine sperg for long periods of time it can be a lifesaver. They'll find another target usually.

It doesn't take much to steamroll level 59 fobs. You just can't set up enough defenses to really even slow people down.
Best you can hope for is be able to sit on blockades, and make sure you're on when someone iivades. The only real way you can protect anything is if you come and defend it.
Not that it matters since Konami is subtly trying to kill off FOBs, having the matchmaking and all the tabs be completely fucked.
