Consider she's the worst character in the game, she'd need an almost complete rework. Of course, a 6* and uni have taken bottom tier characters to top tier before, so I wouldn't doubt it.
After all, no one would get the uni if she was still awful even with it, and NMs gotta get those shekels. Right now, she has mediocre damage, no i-frames, no cc, no dodge, no tankiness, no summons, and nothing unique about her skillset. She has nothing going for her, not even type since the game is already full of great female speed heroes.
Which is a shame because I love Elektra. Here's hoping the uni and 6* are enough to make her viable, but they'll have to be game-changers.

The requirements are hardly difficult to keep up with.

At the very least, you can join, do the AB for your hero guide, and then if you can't keep up with the requirements, then you'll get kicked eventually, and you can just continue on not being in an Alliance like you currently are. No harm done.
