You can extract up to 7, which is coincidentally I think the max for Ultimate basteer weapons. If you had a weapon say +11. You would still extract 7 with a chance for extracting more. Note that this kills the equipment, so be aware of that when extracting. It's 5 for armor pieces.

I don't have concrete answers for the rest. For duo blue jewelry I try to build 20+ stacks. I've succeeded with pri at 4 and 6 failstacks. Then again I'm a lifeskill shitter so other advice might be better

Keep those stones because later when you reach max Level you get a quest that sends you on a quest chain that rewards you with up to 25 Black Stones.
Once you did the Quests enchant the weapon to +7 which will get you another Quest which rwards you with another 7 Weapon Stones after you finished it. After that just extract that shit to get another +7 Stones totaling in +14 just from one Quest.

Blader doesn't use mana it uses the same resource as warriors. Grain pots instead of mana pots.

Alchemy is a beast of burden to level at times, but it's totally worth it to be able to cook up your own, high tier enchanting crystals

The only professions technically worth doing is Alchemy. But none of the professions really make any real money. They are there for grind padding and to be self sufficient. None of the professions will turn a real profit until Artisan level and even then they will not turn a profit because when it's all said and done you can't flip the market.
The only reason Alchemy is worth doing is because eventually you can make all the crystals there are shortages of currently. But that won't be a long time until you have spent a couple weeks grinding alchemy.
