A 4.00 delta on a a bell curve, and we've got at least 4 people claiming to be that good. How many people post in the planetside threads on 4chan? Maybe 500 or so regularly during your average week?
And yet we somehow have 4 posters who are apparently rocking s-class stats on dasanfall. Something that should only happen if we get 40,000+ people regularly posting in these threads.
And that's before even taking into account that it'd be trivial for cheaters to get S-ratings in the game, but incredibly difficult for average players; most of the players with an S-rating are going to be cheaters.
So either dasanfall's statistical calculations are off, you guys are full of shit, or you're cheaters.
The odds of 4 legit players with S-ratings in one thread, minutes within a discussion on skill taking place are too long.

Am I honestly the only one ok with this? Infilshitters rarely do anything useful. Most of them are either spawn snipping or snipping with so few kills per minute that they may as well not be playing.Plus I think I have a personal vendetta against them. No mater how good I get, how many kills I make, how much shit I blow up. I'm playing on a potato and have everything at very low / turned off and I have an harder time spotting infiltrators than I did when I first played in medium for a few days
My graphics card or drivers or something is fucked up, and all cloaked infiltrators appear as solid black, featureless planetmans that are hugely visible on my screen.
It's pretty fucking awesome, and since the game itself still runs well, I have no inclination to fix it.

Construction was a mistake. A whole lot of dev time wasted just to allow players to build walls and lock continents faster was an awful idea. We will have sub 30 fps on high end PCs thanks to several hundred players building their own OCdonut steal bases across the map. The game was literally unplayable (5 fps, 200ms) for the first two months.
Instead of allowing every loser to clog up the map, construction should have added more to already existing bases. For example, collect resources from center of the map, bring them back to your Warpgate (thus creating cool convoys that you actually need to defend) and the resources gained is added to every base your faction owns. Then engineers can fortify those base defenses with air shields, anti-armor shields, new turrets etc. So that taking bases become a combined arms effort instead of a group of infilshitters capping out the point.

HEAT and HE are straight downgrades from AP in almost all situations on every tank. Splash only matters if you're facing multiple infantry planetmans from far away in a tight cluster out in the open and have enough elevation to hit the ground between them. If you face anything except infantry, you want the AP instead, if you are close you can hit them with the AP just fine, if you have no elevation you have to hit them directly anyway or the HE round hits the ground 50m behind the target.
There's also shooting HE rounds into buildings, but I've never done that and I've never died to that, so I don't know what to say about it.

Hossin was my favorite because there was always tension. Boltshitters lurked in the trees. Vehicles would get fucked over really hard, close air support wasn't viable. It was just you and a few cobbled together randos stalking through jungles and ambushing some secondary bases. Good times.
