Three Heroes that do pretty different things.
Tyrande is a very aggressive healer than needs to land her stun in order to be a worthwhile pick, coupled with the vulnerability. Being smart with owls doesn't hurt, either.
Thrall is a pretty solid all-around damage-dealer. He has sustained damage, burst damage, strong Heroic(s), and fantastic lane sustain.
Greymane is a lot of fun, feels to have a bit of outplay potential, immense burst, poke, fantastic dive, but lacks any form of sustain. You're also very susceptible to being blown up when diving, unless you've got the enemy team on the back foot.
Not the best summaries, but I tried. It's a little hard when people ask for opinions about radically different Heroes.
tldr; Tyrande very offensive, relatively weak heals. Thrall is all-around good, but gets a bit dull, I think. Gryemane is very fun, lots of damage, mobility, etc. Zero sustain, though.

I've had the most success on Heroes able to out-right kill things. Some Heroes, like Raynor, Zagara, don't have the lockdown to secure kills without sufficient poke prior, and just rely on people sticking around for you to out-auto, or out-stutterstep them. Most of the above Heroes are also able to siege pretty well, allowing you to push down towers, falls and forts when you get a double kill in your lane.

That's been an issue with the game since Alpha. Once you have a lead, and your team is not retarded, you WILL maintain that lead and continue to take all objectives. The only thing they can do is attempt to take something at the opposite end of the map, or try to run circles around your team getting soak until they can fight again.
They need to up the Underdog Exp bonus more or something, because as it stands, it basically just forces you into doing nothing but avoiding fights for the next like 8 minutes until they hit 16 or so and their exp gain slows down massively, allowing you time to catch up. It's no better than the long as fuck laning phases in other MOBAs.

There is no solution. In dota there are a million timings where a team can make a comeback.
Maybe your big initiator finally got his blink dagger. Maybe your support has gotten a key level. Maybe you managed to play defensive enough to secure space for your carry to farm.

I was a main tychus player before the tyrande meta made him unplayable. I honestly really like his new play style (or how I play him) you can surprise a lot of people with your damage output from your trait. I always take the bigger they are and that's the stuff. The amount of people you can bait into 1v1ing you is insane. Just look like you're running away from them then dash right next to them for 25% resistance, throw a nade and press d and watch as your health shoots up and theirs drops to 40% where you immediately start overkill and chuck another grenade.

I still think it's hilarious she's ability to dodge abilities such as Pyroblast if she times her E correctly. While I think they succeeded in giving her the "high skill cap", they sort of fell short, giving her a low skill floor. She shouldn't have a win rate this high for how many people play her.

If that's how it works, it's probably just because it's quicker. Once you've gotten the hang of a Hero you shouldn't need to see the visual aiming aid/indicator. There are a few exceptions, I think, like Li-Ming orb. Perhaps I'm just not terribly good with ming, though.
I'd like to say that it just comes down to personal preference, and that there isn't any "right way". I'm sure there are players at every rating using any, or a combination of the three options.

Double wyrmhole increases your healing and mobility/escape potential significantly.
