I keep getting rekt in lab normal. The mobs and even izaro himself are so easy I right melt through them and they can barely move before dying, but it feels like some of the trap layouts are often impassable without specific preparations (lots of speed+ and speed pot, or I guess massive amounts of armor and health would work). Most of the time the traps are passable, about half the time I can even tp across, but the few times I can't, I get almost insta-shredded. What am I doing wrong? Pls no bulli

No, the traps ignore all armor, evasion, and dodge and do % damage. However, if you're CI with perma-IC then you can basically take no damage ever (but can still be slowed).

Scion is for specialist builds and is worse then all of them except for those builds. I ordered them in damage to survival, the easier it is to get damage while still getting what you need to survive.

I can never spec ES and they have alot of the nodes so I feel like I am wasting it. So I go ES and die because I cant use it properly. My witches are all MoM which I can spec nicely. But the more ES I use the worse my builds are. I can use the same builds other people have and still fail, maybe you just need expensive items or something. I see people with near 20k ES and Im like how, I die in cruel with 3k.
TLDR ES takes away armor and evasion meaning you get alot of life and no defense so I fail.

A Kaom's is always going to be better than a 40% Belly, however the difference becomes smaller the less % inc life you have from tree, and larger the more % inc life you have.
HP gain from Belly: Base HP * 0.4
HP gain from Kaom's: 500 * %inc life
Difference: (500 * %inc life) - (Base HP * 0.4)
For a pretty standard 250% life character (jewels included) and 2000 base life, that's
1250 - 2000*0.4 = 450 life difference.
Worth nothing BotB gives you "50% increased Flask Life Recovery rate" so it's actually almost as strong as a Kaom's if not more by virtue of giving you much more leeway to spam your bubblings/seethings as they will refill +50% faster. Higher HP pool is not always everything.

Also if you are going to play a CI character, you wont have swapped by cruel laby and the hybrid nodes with a few choice ES/Life loops can give you 4.5k total easily.

Using EB+GR solves any mana issues you could have using a mana intensive spell in a 5L/6L and allows you to reserve all your mana for auras. Scaling ES is also MUCH easier than scaling mana, thus EB+MoM gives you an easy to scale buffer as opposed to just MoM.

By leveling as a life based build until you have enough gear and passives to reach 8k or more ES. Respec out of life when you're ready for it. Maybe Xirgil's Crank makes leveling with ES viable. I don't know. Haven't tried it. What I do know is that leveling as anything but a life based build is absolute hell.

1 quicksilver 3 life 1 mana flask
30k+poison dps (maybe around 35-38 with poison)
Things die fast - and so do I at (t11)
I managed to get from 91-93 with only 2 deaths (right at the end of 92) on t10s
But i'm getting whacked with t11 esp undying archivist on Precinct
I dont think t11s can be that much harder than t10s or are they?
I don't know whether to go back to t10 for confidence, or carry on t11, where it seems harder, even though i kill things quick (but not quite so quick as t10)
I have a 100ex in the bank, and I know my jewels suck, but would slightly better ones help .ikn.
I really want to progress, and have always run blues, finding some, but buying most maps, which is what I saved the ex for. (and selling t12s)

I've never been able to beat piety 2 before, not even on normal. I came as a summoner this time. She was dead instantly when she stopped talking. i don't know what to think about that. Malachai seems like he would've been easy with any build by comparison, just dodge the red circles and the tentacles. I actually don't even know the movesets of malachai's generals, and I barely understand what happened in the malachai fight since it was over so quickly.

Chatters can't freeze and kill you
You can tank Vaal slam and laser all day long
Dominus is even more of a joke than before
Monster mods seem more of a joke too now, Volatile Xbloods are half as dangerous as when they first came out, reflect seems much less threatening too.
Mobs generally seem much weaker, devourers aren't scary anymore, flickers and dischargers and incinerate dogs are all non-threatening too.

Pretty sure crit multiplier can't be reduced below 100% (as in, nothing can deal less damage from a crit than they would on a normal attack).
It is however possible to reduce crits to the effectiveness of normal attacks with enfeeble, making crits only matter for elestatus and maps with increased crit multi mods.
