Being it's a straight tack driver, even with out a bunch of accuracy mods. So the average Vector user is fine with spraying towards an NPC like a skunk. A MP5, even with a rate of fire mag on it, lets a person just head hunt like a monster. In a game with very little content over all it's x10 more fun for me to use than a Vector.
the AUG rate of fire is too slow for me to really enjoy it and while range feels better over all for an SMG you are still suffering from fall off rather quickly. People just don't notice being it's better than other SMG and most run SMG and MR combos. I perfer AR and SMG so slightly better midrange is a worthless SMG bonus for my set up.
the vector is straight up garbage outside of it's very, very cheap crafting cost so one can re-re-re-roll it. If you had to use Dtec for it, next to no one would bother running it.

you are at the game stage where you start trying to minmax your character for some given role. There is no really easy advice at this point being we are into basement level player territory now.
So you dig into each piece of gear taking note (or just look online) of certain stat areas that are only on certain pieces of gear. Then keep trying to get there. Like not every piece of gear can get crit chance for example or how I want a mask with two gear slots, remove status with medkit as a talent and high stamina

It's a co-op PvE game with zero balance to it's PVP side, on any level, it's not really an issue if a person chooses to go with a less popular option for stuff. I already roll so much healing power I don't need the bonus healing talents. I tend to be running/hiding like a bitch when I do have to fall back on health kits so +damage is worthless to me.
I don't want to 2% heal glitch (and it will be patched) and I find status effect to be the most annoying thing in the game. So being able to pop a kit and knock them off me is far from worthless, to me. Sure I could eat a candybar or whatever that is in the game but you always have a health kit

they could "fix" any of the weapons by adding in bonus effects along the lines what we see with crits for the SMG, but on a weapon by weapon base. .
So for the high fire MR let a player have build in +firepower percentage when over healed.. Something that is not part of the talents RNG.

No true PC gamer thinks a game is ever going to be hack free. It's always been an issue on the PC and it always will be. It's the cost we pay for it being on the PC in the first place. The con that balances out the pros.
so hacks are a given.. that said, everyone screams hack about everything in this game, even when it's clearly just an issue of gear power..
the one thing this game has going for it when it comes to hackers is there is not enough self dick sucking stats to feed their egos. No leader board, no KDR, no score board at all. So you can roam and troll for a bit but that's about it. People are not even trapped on the server with them being you can leave from all sides of the map and match make for a different DZ.
I think I figured why I see so many people saying they get kicked before they finish loading now.

I don't see that in game.. DZ62ish or so and even with the newer rules I still don't see a ton of rogues and I think it's a given a hacker IS going rogue.. I've roamed the DZ for hours at a time and never seen a rogue so I'm guessing, no one hacking at that time. At least not hacking in a way that shits down my neck.

I don't think it's fair to blame the community. It was on the developers to make the area succeed, and they have failed. The game just isn't that well constructed outside of the addictive but not at all unique loot loop, which is invalidated by horrible balance (see: fucking everyone using SMGs+DMRs and nothing else ever) and the leaky ship that is the game's coding (see: the unending parade of exploits and the easy-as-pie hacks).

Dtechs not hard to get. Just reroll servers till you get an empty one and have fun. Takes maybe an hour for 45+ dtech. Especially with 2 guys so you can make your northward run, teleport from northern to southern checkpoints one at a time to maintain your server, repeat since its empty or damn near you can even extract safely since your dtech run brings you right past half the bosses.

you're trying to argue semantics and marketing while over looking core facts. The DZ has no true PvP of any nature being it's not a balanced fight. You can also avoid all rogues who have already killed someone by checking the map
The bulk of the entire map is PvE, the DZ is mostly PvE, the missions are pure PvE.. The first DLC is pure PvE. The game even launched with draconian rules in place that pretty much prevented any PvP in the "for marketing only" *cough* PvP Darkzone. Your in game rewards come from PvE and ONLY PvE. You run PvE missions or you farm NPC in the DZ. Even rogues who steal loot only have that loot being someone else put in the PvE effort.

That's not dealing with the core issue of Div Tech being near impossible to find for your average playe. They don't have hours to jump from server to server and they lack the gear for high level DZ roaming. They also don't have a map of all the DZ crates and they should not have to look for one.
It's also boring as hell and I don't understand games looking to cock block your players and try to force them into mindless farming paths. That might of worked years ago when we had less game options but I don't see how it works well now.
I'm not saying you rain down Div Tech on a person but I should be able to craft something every day.. Where as I've roamed and hit say 10-12+ case or more and ended up with 4 green, a couple of blues and one yellow.

I think a player has to ride the content as it comes out or there are just less players doing it and it's less fun. Even the missions, while quicker to run now, were more fun when we were learning what to do. That only happens early on.
now it's a puzzle we already cracked and it's more like do the path, watch the spawn and get it done. Still fun in a pew pew pew sort of way but no where near as interesting as early on.

I really hate to say it, but the only thing Call of Duty does right is they always make sure every room / point has two distinctly different points of approach, and usually there is 3. There are very, very few exceptions but they still leave it available for attack by other means (being shot from the outside, ease of being grenaded, etc.) - in fact COD4 had the most campable cheese spots but they tried to get rid of them entirely in MW2
This game is an utter shit show and a joke when it comes to long term planning. They made a really good 10-20 hour single player / co-op game but expect us to play it for years like World of Warcraft. So for there to be numerous cheese spots in the Dark Zone where people are practically invincible? Hilarious.

Actually all that shit is strapped to the outside of your pack - it's implied that most of the basic stuff (like turrets, healing stations, cover) are reusable, not a giant one time use box that you carry 50 of
Seeker mines and sticky bombs are actually fairly small and the size of a grenade - and carrying multiple grenades isn't that far fetched.

Okay apparently the fix, if you are able to log in, is to clear out enough inventory to the point where you have less than 40 because the backpack does not equip itself and your items overflow and create an error.
