Seriously now, D'artayan is actually a great pawn to have around, but he seems to climb things too often and doesn't really want to let go. I've seen other pawns take the zombie train down to hell, but not quite as often has him. I'm not sure what could be causing him to do this though.

It's great fun if you enjoy ranged/magick combat, as I do. Just remember that you definitely don't need to use Magick Rebalancer constantly. That kills the fun because every normal enemy dies way too quickly so you end up spending more time applying buffs than actually fighting. Save it for the bigger, nastier things.

Do the duplicate pawn on the rift bug
The first 6 or so pawns you automatically summon on the rift are people on your friend list, sorted by ranking
If you get the timing right and summon the pawn from menu, you'll get the same pawn summoned twice
Then use dinput, but i'm not sure you can edit support pawn inclinations so you might want to check that first

Huh that's a good idea actually. I played Sorc mostly and only switched to MA recently, I've never had a Fighter hold shit down for me, but that sounds pretty good actually.
I'll be making more webms as I have time to play, in the weekends and in the evening EU time, with whatever squad I'm using at the time. I'm going to keep Helena and D'artayan until I finish my current BBI run, then finally move my ass to Hard and hire some new pawns for BBI1.0/2.0. Now that I've managed to get the recording/encoding business reasonably sorted out, I can make webms pretty easily.

Her skills are fine.
She was very jumpy for a fighter. There were also times where she would just stand holding her shield at a long distance from enemies. Not sure if it's inclination related or not but she just seemed very defensive than other fighters.

I would recommend just switching to warrior and not worrying about stats too much, or use MK in BBI until you can get a longsword in BBI. At least with the former your weapon would be better than anything Grigori drops so you wouldn't feel a stat difference, at all.

Does anyone know how Great Cannon actually scales? I thought it scaled better with Magick, but then I see that the BBI level 3 mace is a pure Str weapon.

As far as stats are concerned, there's no reason to use a sword over a mace. Maces simply deal more damage with no loss of speed like with warriors. Combined with augments and abyssal anguish, the extra damage adds up quickly.

What's a good alternative to Great Gamble? I picked it up because that "leaving Dragons with 1 hp with one hit" and "huge damage if hits a weak spot" sounded tempting but so far I have seen this never happen. My Pawn pften fails to hit Gorecyclops eyes and when he hits a hearts I don't see that much HP loss. Plus he has the bad habit of charging it on directions the AI detects the weak spot is on the way but won't hit (like aiming to the back of a Dragon when the heart is on the chest). And if it doesn't hit a weak spot the damage is lottle to nothing.
But I love the knockdown and how some mid/small sized enemies just fucking disappear or fly like if they were arc'd. Can I get similar results with Deathly Arrow or something else?

You'll have a higher chance of your items getting dragon forge killing wyrms in bbi. They are one of the random enemies in the round of dread which spawns new enemies every time you enter it.

They're already great. She did exactly what I'd want a strider pawn with a rusted bow to do. She kept applying torpor before going in to melt them with her daggers.
Eminence could be a good alternate augment if you want her skull splitter to be just that more deadly. Other than that, nicely done.

The only class that can solo normal mode and even still with a pharmacy of curative is assassin. So strider first, then assassin 10 levels in. It's mobile enough that you might do ok. I recommend against magic classes because they are slow to cast the spells that keep bandits off your aught.

The party aspect is one of the main attractions to the game. If you really want to play solo, I'd suggest one of the melee classes.
Fighter and Mystic Knight will have a shield for blocking.
All the yellow classes have a dodge with i-frames. Some have counters as well.
Don't play a blue class since you have to deal with cast times or at least save it for another playthrough.
