What makes zodiacs so bad? I used one before and they're amazing. Singularity boosts your damage against an enemy's weakness by 50% and Etheric Charge triples your elemental damage next turn. Both those even apply to Limit abilities.

Well some classes it's better to change to a DH instead of keeping them in their normal class since their Force Boost is better. ex: Gunner Alter Classed to Dark Hunter does more damage with Force Boost, Burst Shot 10, Point Blank 10 than Regular Gunner does with Force Boost, Burst Shot 20, Point Blank 20
Another thing that can be done is Alter Class a Medic to Dark Hunter and give them an Ailing Slash grimoire. That gives the highest damage potential to Ailing Slash.

Dark Hunter's Force Boost multiplies damage by 2. Fafnir's Force Boost multiplies damage by 1.5. Alchemist's Force Boost multiplies damage by 1.65 if the enemy is weak to the element. Gunner's Force Boost technically multiplies damage by 1.6. Highlander's Force Boost multiplies damage by 1.5. And Landy's Force Boost with Fencer 20 multiplies damage by 1.65.
You can see how Alter Classing to Dark Hunter can help boost damage since their Force Boost is better than everyone else's.

That'd mean you need Drive Spears, unless you want to lock them out of all their offensive skills.

Nope. I think you might have moved faster in a couple scripted events where you couldn't control movement, but no running while exploring the dungeons.
