Is it normal for the hardlinker batch file to give this error while it is creating the folders?

I was able to get the batch file running via right-click+admin, but all of the files created give me this error

The folder the hardlinker.bat is in is supposed to be called texture not textures. Not sure if that causes the problem you're having, but it will definitely cause problems down the road

if you're asking about those RD /Q ... lines then it will throw that error if it can't find a skirtxx/sitagixx folder. It's basically clearing the folder before adding new links. Since there aren't 999 clothes mods yet it will throw a lot of errors at first.

It must be that, I've been looking through google to fix problems with batch files but the terminology that they use goes over my head.
Upgrading my .NET framework fixed an issue I was having with AA2install after another anon helped me out, it's also what allowed me to run the batchfile as admin to begin with.

First time I heard of people not bening able to run bats. Try making your own .bat and run it. Create a .txt with the following content:

Your best bet would be googling the error in English.
Also the folder is definitely wrong because there's no reason for it to search in Downloads\Desktop\texture. Try running that .bat you created in C:\ and if it runs then the issue is your Downloads\Desktop folder which you have to fix anyway.

This was just done for my convenience, I have been trying it multiple times in C:\Ilusion\etc, to no avail. So I've been just messing around with a couple of different folders and such to see if I could do something.

That wont work. When you make a junction it is linked to a specific path. It isn't something you can just copy to another drive.

It doesn't create folders per se. It creates junctions which correspond to symbolic(or hard) links in other OSs. Pretty sure every Windows since Vista has that capability.
Don't bother doing it in another location other than the AA2Play\data\texture. You might get errors you otherwise wouldn't.

There's a hf guide linked in the doc. Basically you set scale 0 in one frame and scale 100 in another (and ~9 values inbetween) and the game interpolates/extrapolates from it.
Find that guide and refer to some other scalable hair.
