Every Digimon has its own unique elemental weakness other than Demon/Dark Digimon generally being weak against Angel/Holy Digimon and vice-versa, if you didn't know this, but I'd say Electric would be weak against Earth or Air while Wood would be weak against Fire
I feel like adding a Wood element would kinda complete the Digi circle, make it more Taoist which it takes inspiration from like all shit with "the elements"

Firstly, Digimon has three groups of types: Digi type (Vaccine, Data, Virus, Neutral), Monster type (Beast, Dragon, Machine, etc.) and Element type (Earth, Fire, Steel, etc.) while Pokemon only has one, that basically combines Digimon's Monster and Element types, so Digimon's Machine and Steel become Pokemon's Steel, while Digimon's Dragon and Fire become Pokemon's seperate Dragon and Fire, etc.
Digimon has much more intelligent types, basically. And by the types alone, Digimon is more comparable to Yugioh with its Card type, Monster type and Attribute type.

I'm only remembering 13 right now, but even so, 20/240+ is pretty good though, and I think that things like Lopmon, Rapidmon Gold, BlackWarGreymon, Black Agumon and Cherubimon Vice are very reasonable recolors to have. I'm sure there were better choices for the other spots "taken" by the recolors, but the roster is more than acceptable nonetheless. I do believe it's a good indicator for the next story game's roster

I beg to differ. Ryo was a Mary Sue not so much because he possessed extraordinary abilities, but because the other characters made him one.
He had to save everyone when they got inexplicably captured by old enemies, he was drafted time and time again for various crises, Milenniummon was obsessed with him and even let him win in the end, and random old computers decided to send him through the multiverse.
He did what a protagonist is supposed to: defeat villains and save the day; but he never wielded extraordinary powers or anything.
He was annoying in Tamers, but he'd been through so much at that point that it was justified for him to be a seasoned veteran, at least.
Mirei on the other hand already had profound insight and skill in Re:Digitize, though in that universe it was her job and she specialised in that sort of thing, at least. Come Cyber Sleuth and she's mastered multiverse travel, has intricate knowledge of things that have never even before brought up, and she randomly decides to play villain for a brief episode before going back to being smug.
That's well beyond Ryo already if you ask me.
