I liked DM because it was about putting the player into a dire situation and making the gameplay reflect that, while also keeping the core focus in the game of allowing the player control of the outcome.
To me, Auto just feels like a shiny little doodad that offers nothing to improve the core experience of the game. A nice graphic to distract the player from the other shortcomings the game had.

I know, and frankly I hold the unpopular opinion that it actually looks rather good. Maybe not the best, but quite good.
Could be it's a lot easier to cosplay in because unlike most armors in the series it was originally designed to fit the human frame.
So, it gets a lot of play not just because it's the new "face" armor but because it's the easiest to get looking right.
APA is generally the most heavily stylized in all its forms so without taking some serious liberties it would be tricky to get looking right, and the venerable, classic T-51 loses some of its appeal if it doesn't look properly hulking.

None I can think of. Check the stats. AR uses .308 which you can buy from the SM machine in Elijah's room. LMG runs off of 5.56 which you can get plenty of from Gun Runners.

LMG seems to have a higher ammo capacity, ROF, and inexplicably a much tighter spread considering all the aforementioned qualities.

Insofar as I can tell only humans and mongrel mutts sleep. Check your Pipboy for the game time, it is usually between 11 pm to 6 am. If you are indoors then certain enemies are programmed to be asleep when you first happen upon them but they may wake up when you have strayed into their vicinity and stay for a bit. The game clock may or may not be disregarded.

Did they ever fix the Silver Shroud post-level 45 armor upgrades with kent? I'm on PS4, I know, I know...Besthesda games on console, yes. I'm just curious because if they haven't I'm considering starting a new character to get the armor.

Sonuvabitch, I think I'm gonna restart but go non-sneaky heavy-weapons tank with damage, rad and energy resist with the HP boost. I wanted to get away from being "sneaky" this might be the chance. Should I start on the hardest difficulty or just sorta get to a good spot then kick it into "Hardcore"? Should I go Brotherhood of Steel mode on this one and say fuck everyone else? They do have a blimp and a Gundam.

So, Kent survived and returned to Good Neighbor as per the routine of that questline. He didn't get stuck or anything. He's currently parked in front of the radio and everytime I stop by to talk to him with the Silver Shroud costume on, he just says he has no upgrades. I'm currently level 86 but would be willing to restart on a character just for the fully upgraded version. Not as good as a Courser uniform or Maxson's Coat with Ballistic Weave but it gets points for style.
