Well everything is getting buffed so it's all relative. BMs become godmode, Sins get an entirely new awesome playstyle (and still hard counter KFMs). Summoners get very little but are already cancerously OP in terms of how easy they are to get results with.
KFM has a fairly high skill ceiling but also a much lower skill -floor- than most classes, a bad kfm in pvp is food for everyone. The buffs likely just keep stuff in line I guess.
They could also have been made with PvE in mind.

I'm one of those people that starts with a preset and then "fixes" it, ie make changes that I think will make it look better
I've tried to make my character look similar to previous versions of her from other games but one game doesn't always translate well to another (or you don't have the same options available from game to game, see ffxiv) so usually I just end up going for something that looks decent in whatever game I'm playing
I try not to overdo it on makeup but that's more of a challenge to myself because previous characters of mine have way overdone it on makeup.
tl;dr do what you think is best, I think you have a good thing going with your character
Only thing I would say is reduce the eye distance. I didn't like A's complexion and C's eyes are too big. If you're going all in on your trope keep the makeup whether you go with the old hair or the new.
As for assassin:
It's very good in pve if you are good at maintaining stealth, which isn't particularly hard to do but I found it pretty dull (I main des so I'm used to just bashing my face into everything). In pvp you have to be an ass to succeed but the amount of rage you see from people here should make it pretty apparent how well you can succeed if you're good at being a jerk and drawing things out.
I guess you could say I'm lazy and the straightforward gameplay of des appeals more to me than sin did. I'm not against more complex classes but sin didn't appeal to me enough to focus on it (and considering SF will probably require people to focus on one character initially, that's fine with me). It's a good class in good hands.

Do story line up to necropolis. Once you get there, pick up the quest that tells you to retrieve the staves that spawns 2-3 skeletons each time you try to retrieve it.
Eat a hongdong noodle soup, cancel the animation prematurely to force the skeletons to spawn and farm them.
Alternatively, you could just farm in monkeystone where the daily npcs are or crash site with the bots.

I think you are missing the point.
They were/are obtainable, but only for a limited time. Corvus and Luna are rare/exclusive outfits, not intended for literally every pleb or casual to obtain and wear, and thus they are only given out during special occasions (e.g. the game's launch and the first major expansion now). That is, until NC decides to put them in the cash shop.
In B&S there is a variety of costume types. There's event outfits, transmute outfits, cash shop outfits, and more. They are not intended to overlap to maintain some sort of 'exclusivity' to them. You can't buy event outfits in the store, and you can't obtain store outfits through events.

I was surprised by Destro's style of play. I was expecting it to be a tank because of HP and def, but it's actually just a slightly sluggish CC/DPS class because of BnS's combat mechanics. It's possible to tank with it if you know how to cycle CC and escape skills and have good iframe and deflect timing, but a KFM or BM can do it better with less effort.

Unobtainable shit makes me lose nearly all interest in this game. Just got my lock to 45 and was looking at outfits, what's the first thing I see? An outfit I like, and I can't get it.

Sorry I just don't like playing a game, finding something you like, and then finding out it's behind a needless wall of "NO YOU CAN'T HAVE THIS".
It could have easily been something to milk money out of me, or to draw me into the game by behind behind a grind, but because it's 100% unobtainable I am just signed out of the game and doing other things. RIP.
