What is Max was able to hone her power to rewind certain objects? There's a fic where she got shot in the leg and ends up rewinding the wound away.

Kate says she knows who he is and forgives him as long as he is no longer living that lifestyle. They hit it off and start hanging out. Maybe it's just friendship, maybe it turn into more. I dunno it was just a silly idea that popped into my head.
