This "speedlimit" is to prohibit a form of spam that makes people crash at AREA 0. All forms of spam are not allowed on areas 1-5. At area 0, spam might be allowed, but the "superspam" that makes people crash isn't.

Defendant on bench is fine if a) They make humorous quips about once every 10 minutes without otherwise affecting the trial, or b) Someone on the bench had to leave due to IRL (like dog getting sick) or RP (betting their badge and losing it) reasons and they want to step up and help their attorneys. I was the lead pro in that, for the record, yes we may have went a little too far, but it was mainly due to during the first CE the defense constantly complained whenever we did our job such as challenging them, answering for witness, things that prosecution does.
Thus, they decided to stoop lower during the prosecution CE, shouting objection and muh evidence at every turn, among other things which pissed us off, so it was a never ending circle of each other stooping lower and being annoyed.
Both sides ended up apologizing by the end, and it ended pretty well and everyone had fun for most of the second half.
