They are pretty good right now, solid Tier 2 in tcg and were really good in ocg when they had 3 reasoning/gate, limiting those in Japan really hurt them, but as evidenced by the recently topping one that splashed gamma, I think that they still have potential. I hope we have a format where gate and reasoning are at 3 AND we have Left Arm Offering here in the TCG, that would truly be glorious.
Right now though, you kinda have to rely on a lightsworn engine (2 charge 2 raiden) to get tuners/mills and make bombastic plays. There's also the option of using the fieldwipe effect of Sky Scourge Norleras with Phantom of Chaos to make huge boards from the graveyard, if that's up your alley.
Shit there's a whole lot of things you can do with Noids, I'm working on a deck to abuse Gren Maju and Golden Homunculus as reasoning targets in conjunction with the new Pot to banish a whole ton of cards and make huge beatsticks. I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.

They are inconsistent. At it's core the deck is still "Reasoning or die". If you can't get some killer mills, you won't have the tempo needed to outresource the opponent. Infernoids are unable to generate advantage on their own and need the help of spells, which for the most part are unsearchable. We don't have Left Arm, and Monster Gate is at 1.
