Faceless lets you copy enemy minion too, and this is huge. On top of that, a new 4/12 ysera is way better than a 1/1 ysera + a 5/5, same for ragnaros and most other big minions. Sure, you could get great value out of this if you have something like velen and malygos on your board, but then again, you were most likely winning by a landslide anyway.
It could still work in an aggro-ish priest deck, but i doubt priest will ever be able to play that kind of deck with a decent level of success

Except your limited to using your Faceless only on Ysera/some other big legendary as opposed to any time you have some minions out. It's more flexible deck building wise, you could have clerics, summon him, then heal a minion and get tons of cards, way before turn 10 (ysera on 9, faceless on 10). You could use faceless before that but you'd be dumb to do so unless its an enemy minion or thauressen (to which Herald is actually better since you only want emperor's ability and you still develop a 5/5).

Comparing this to faceless seems kind of bad honestly. I think it might be valid to play this turn 6 if you have any sort of board, even if you only have twilight guardians or something.
Is a 6 mana 5/5, summon 1/1s for each minion you have reasonable? 5/5 is alright stats and it summons 1/1s is weak to AoE so it might mostly be matchup dependent but I think it could be good in the right situation. Priest does have the means to buff up smaller minions with things like power word shield, copying an Azure Drake for the spell damage could be good if you want to follow up with a smite or holy nova.
I mean of course immediately you want to jump to copying a Chrom or a Ysera but I think that's being too greedy/optimistic, Dragon Priest has always been lacking a good 6 drop and this might be a good turn 6 play to solidify your board.

My reaction arrows are simply summing up what's happened in the past. Plenty of people said that Reno wasn't going to be that great because you're crippling yourself by only having 1 of each good card, but the deck works just fine and the archtype will stay until the card is pushed out of standard, and in wild the deck can only get better over time. Which brings me back to my first post. Everyone wants to talk down on a card now, and complain about it later if it turns out to be good. Only some people wanted to bring up potential synergy with other cards, and the rest shit on those ideas and the card and said Faceless is better. Complaining about a card instead of talking about it's potential isn't good conversation.

Reno cannot literally have been known because the idea hasn't been tested of making a deck of 30 1 of cards, if we were wrong then you can't blame us. I actually think we are underrated at knowing the quality of cards and our stupidity is just a meme.

It pisses me off that WotC can't make a decent MTG online game with the quality of Hearthstone.

Go ahead and tell us that great potential.
If your board is empty it doesnt do anything. It's too expensive to be comboed with another good card.
If you have a board as a priest on turn 6 you're a) most likely winning anyway and b) 3 1/1 dont change the gamestate that much, because we don't have any good deathrattle cards or "do something at the end of your turn" cards yet.
If you have Ysera/Rag/Sylvanas and play this one it's really great. But what are the chances you have them on your board more than one round? And why can't you just use faceless instead?
I don't see any potential at the current state.
It's a winmore card and Priest doesnt need it.
It should've been a neutral and I would've liked it.
