Let's say you get the Fletcher's base range to make it at least somewhat comparable to other battleships. The Atlanta currently has nerfed Gearing turrets that fall in line RoF and turret traverse-wise with the single 5" mounts. They would likely either use these or something worse. They have rainbow arcs, so forget about hitting anything that isn't a battleship or asleep at the wheel beyond 10km. Meanwhile, smart DDs and CLs will avoid closing distance with you like the plague, so you'll never get the chance to exercise your true power against savvy players.
Against bad players, it might be a little too strong, I'll admit. Maybe it would be OK at tier 4 with limited mm?

I have a 66% wr on it and i hardly ever get T8 and i cant remember the last time i saw T9. Protip: dont try to bomb NOs. Most of the time you get put up against Kongos who sail in a straight line. AA CAs are death, flooding is alot better than fire so use DBs first.

Even if they do get detected its often impossible to dodge all of them because there are so fucking many, BBs are forced to tank at least 1 and that's if you're MLG at dodging.

Also you completely ignore the fact that with BBs there is a SIGNIFICANT amount of RNG involved with our salvos. Even if it's aimed perfectly there is a chance that dispersion will throw your shells over or under the enemy ship, torpedoes have almost 0 RNG, they have a minuscule amount of drift and a chance to flood or detonate the enemy, that's it.
