back in dota i followed the rules Monday - Thursday only for ranked games.
For hots ive always played it as if it was solitaire I don't really care, but i started playing only ranked since wednesday, sure enough until thursday I was smashing cunts, getting nice big 110 wins, skip to yesterday/today i get teammates that just dive head first into a team and die, I get healers that only heal the person furthest from the fight or don't come to fights and i get tanks that cant initiate.
and even if.. even if I win I get 75-90 points. I feel i literally need 4 more of me, I can play any role but whatever i play is let down by the others. even duo queue doesnt help.
This game is literally based on who has the worst player not the best and because of that you cant go up without a team that can play its roles.

New player here. Just had one of my closest matches yet. My team was pure garbage. I'm pretty sure they were Brazilians. We even had a level 40 who wasn't helping for shit with objectives.It was Chen. We were down for most of the game, but we had so many opportunities to come back because the other team also sucked at attacking objectives. It was both a frustrating and fun game, even though we lost.

I've been playing Tychus this week and he's pretty fun. Topping damage charts almost every game. But when people say he's going to get a rework is it going to be drastic like new skills or will they just make his talents less retarded?
The biggest problem I've had is how you can't cancel his Q. It's really awful when you use it against Illadin or Zul to get around their dodge but then you're stuck there for 5 whole seconds without being able to make use of any of your talents. And of course all his retarded talents make me really hesitate pickin Odin. But even the mining laser is pretty bad because it takes longer to set-up than it does for the enemy to kill it.

I need some help regarding Abathur
I'm learning this hero, and doing acceptably well so far. My only issue is when/where to place his mines, beside the early gank bushes, giving vision to important objectives/camps, and protecting your vanguard hideout
I've also realized I forget to deploy them in the lategame, when teamfights are more frequent

In the co-op missions, he could call in orbital bombardments and laser strikes, as well as give buildings a production speed boost.
He could also summon the purifier beam as a unit, which was pretty neat. He'll most likely be a specialist if he ever makes it into Heroes.

it doesn't require you to learn 12 different submenus or make you micromanage money and equipment. the actual fighting in teamfights is just as complex, with a bit less variety because HotS doesn't have the literal hundreds of characters LoL has and about half of the Talents aren't good. also keep in mind: /v/ is dumb as hell.

Teleport build isn't inherently a problem as far as damage is concerned, missile build has a higher damage output from safer distance (assuming whoever is playing her is able to land all of her missiles on the same target). Point is, teleport build is too strong from a defensive perspective, shield + illusionist makes her ridicously hard to catch and kill.
