Have you played the game? It's not fun in pubs when people switch to cheese setups of 3-5 of the same character and it's certainly not enjoyable to watch comp teams rely on double everything cheese.
The ability to balance the game to a point where this is ineffective is beyond blizzard.

The deflection card is just for deflects, but what I'm saying is the ability to differentiate between a widow deflection and say a roadhog ult, and actually landing the widow deflection. They could make for some cool potgs rather than just a genji who is ulting onto a bunch of people.
Deflecting widow shots isn't as hard as you think it is. I'm a shit player and I've done it numerous times already. You have the upper hand as a genji against a widow because she'll immediately want to snipe you, so all you have to do is aim at her. You can even stay still too, most of the time widows don't catch on until they're dead. At a pro-level I'm sure the situation is actually different and she'll snipe you before you're able to accurately figure out where she is.

I'm convinced these roadhog webms are from someone with a 600 ping. Every game I play against a roadhog he lands all his hooks even through corners, walls, the floor, buildings, everything. I even had a game last night where the enemy roadhog missed his hook three times but still managed to get me. By missed I mean that on my screen it sailed wide AND on the view from his screen my model wasn't even in the targeting circle and yet it nabbed me.
It's maddening to deal with because I know it's coming and take the proper evasive action to avoid it but nope, still hits.

Animation didn't hit though, if it did, Roadhog does this like jerk back animation with a sound cue. From the webm, it just looks like it shot forward smoothly and reeled back, same thing it does when it gets deflected or when you reach max range.

To be fair I have no idea what this guy and his webms are about, my complaint is that the hook never misses. I'm about 400 games in and if you just look in someones general direction your hook is guaranteed to hit, really makes me salty when I know I counter played it perfectly and still got nabbed.
