Do you live under a rock? Pokken is the first Pokémon fighting game and people are pretty stoked about it.
You have 16 characters to choose from (maybe we'll get more)and all of them first into a category that determines their playstyle: power, standard, or technique. The game revolves around a "rock, paper, scissors" concept: grabs beat shield, attacks beat grabs, and shields beat attacks. The game has supportmon and a synergy guage which when filled allows you to enter Burst Mode, which allows you to become faster and stronger. You can also use your burst attack for high damage, or as a finisher.

The tip of down+y has a sweetspot that you can combo into hex, which by itself does 240 damage on enemies with 2 negative statuses on them.

More people also need to take liberal advantage of the RPS system (Counter > Combo > Grab) instead of just using combo attacks constantly.
I see many Gardevoirs, Suicunes, etc. that are too hard-wired into playing as a "zoner", so they absolutely crumple when you get them in short-range trades. They completely ignore anything that's not a ranged attack.
Too many Machamps that expect to walk forwards and get free grabs.
Too many Fire Chickens that spam their ebin airdash shit and don't expect the enemy to catch on and punish their ass once they land.

Sometimes after a fight my B button will randomly stop working in menus. It doesn't matter what controller I'm using, the pad and the pro both do it. I've never had this happen in any other game.
Every other button works fine and I can even enter another battle where B will still jump or hit Home and use the B button in the WiiU menu, but it doesn't do anything in the game menu. I can't exit the game mode, I have to turn the WiiU off if I want to do something else.
