So this isn't a meme? People actually do this? Only time i've ever done Lab in a party was with friends of the same level who needed to do it too, i've also boosted a couple through because they panic on the traps, so I help them find safe spots.
Honestly it's not that difficult. The final boss room can be a little intimidating with all the traps, but his attacks are literally shown to you seconds in advance to move out the way and keep hitting him. Honestly Daresso is scarier than Izaro, and yes i've done merc labs quite a few times.

It was pretty meh. If going melee, you're going to need a combination of the following:
>10k+ armor
>bare minimum of 200% increased life
>Block stacking
Evasion is a meme for melee builds. If you can get some side evasion, its good, but don't go full eva. Stack your life like a madman, and if for whatever reason (mostly going 2h) you can't spec into block, stack your life even harder (220% or more).
Always keep fortify up and find a reliable way to apply enfeeble.

Look I can tell you're new so I'll explain to you something. I'm in maps at level 75 in HC with absolute trash self found gear and I have all over capped resists besides chaos and I don't have any resist nodes allocated aside from that one that gives life and like 4% fire res or whatever which I grabbed in my path to RT. Resists are easy as fuck to keep capped in normal and cruel with resist rings and in merc you can get resist gear from from running ledge/sarn/dried lake/docks.

I did a ranger using Spectral Throw/Molten Strike, my build was mostly on the right side of the tree and i managed to get all the crit nodes, 160% increased damage with two handers and 100% with swords, not to mention the projectile nodes. And, 170% life with 5 jewel slots (if you fill them with 7% life, you'd be at 205% life).
At first, i was full eva with acrobatics. It worked pretty great up until i started mapping. Reflect was a bitch to handle (you can evade reflect damage, but eventually, one reflect damage would land, and it would hit like a truck since i had 0 armor).
Then i removed acrobatics, and went for Iron Reflexes. 12k armor, and some little spell dodge thanks to Atziri's steps. Worked way better, just had to make sure i had fortify up against hard hitters.
In conclusion, considering you're going dual dagger crit, you will have better defenses than me (dual wield block) and you won't have to spread your build so far away as i did, since dagger nodes are pretty close.
