Fine.Neptune discovers a Dreamcast console lying around. It whispers to her, she thinks that's pretty cool, so she takes it home and tries to play it with Nepgear. Lo and behold, the console opens a portal to another fucking dimension, the Zero Dimension, and away they go.
Shit proceeds to happen.
After said shit happens, they're thrown back into the Hyperdimension, which is in the middle of the "Shift Period", in which all citizens get bored with their current goddess and write mean things about them online. All the goddesses congregate and decide that gladiatorial combat is the best way to increase their shares during this fragile period. Unfortunately, the -Shas show up and wipe the proverbial barnyard floor with them.
To make matters much worse, immediately after these fights, history is rewritten by an unknown figure (with blue hair named Kurome). Suddenly, it's as if the -Shas have been the goddesses all along. The Neps have been scattered through the land for some unknown reason (because solo routes, fuck you) and must individually try to retake their nations by solving the -Shas problems with the power of friendship.
They do just that. Not very exciting. Then a dimensional portal opens up connecting the Hyperdimension to the Zero Dimension. It is then revealed that the two are on a collision course and Bluzume is basically going to kill everything for shits and giggles. So the goddesses go to the Heart Dimension, where they're trapped in happy delusions by Bluzume and are forced to attack and kill their sisters. Only Nepgear gets away, and she narrates the destruction of Gamindustri. The end.
