For one thing, don't erase his memories or character development. I'm actually fine with the "Am I android?" plot point.
If you own SA1, go play Red Mountain while taking the longest, most platform-heavy routes, don't use the homing attack/air dash on anything (including Spinners and Sols), and spindash over enemy chains that require you to use it. This is truly Sonic in 3D.

Post your favorite page of your favorite issue.I fucking love this entire scene. Sonic dropping his sense of confidence and bravado and becoming completely serious really underscores just how much of a villain Scourge is, to be able to elicit such a sense of anger and contempt from a hero that normally can take a literal apocalypse in stride. The contrast to the "one bad day" scene is cathartic in that it shows just how much two similar personalities can differ, and does a good job of characterizing Scourge as well. Everything from the breaking crown to the mud Sonic throws Scourge into adds such a wonderful visual flair that keeps the tone unique, and wraps up a thrill-ride of an arc in a way that few comic teams can ever hope to achieve./blog

Boom Sonic in the show and Boom Sonic in each game seem to be a different guy. Like in the WiiU game Sonic needed some kind of machine made by the ancients to run on water, while in the show with everything slowed down so much that a few seconds were extended to a few minutes or more he was able to go normal speed and do things other than run at super speed as well. We haven't seen him run on water in the show yet, far as I can remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if he could do it.
Plus given the nature of the show, that Boom Sonic is somewhat like a lite AoStH Sonic.

There's actually a toolset called SA Tools that can rip them from the game files (http://info.sonicretro.org/SA_Tools) The only problem is that some characters come out funny (Rouge's mesh's lowe body seems to be clustered up inside her boobs), and I can't save OBJs out of it.
