Finally defeated him. Started With BeelzeBm, Belphe and MarineAnge, spam Attack/Speed Charge Field and Guarding whenever bullshit attack was coming and when I had enough boosts and deemed it safe, started attacking. Took moost of his health when he boosted and attacked without giving me turns, so I brought out BkWarGrey, Lilith and RoseBM and finished him off, swapping the attackers for dead bodies whenever bullshit attack was coming to reduce the health gain. Not the most elegant way to win, but I'll take it. Best part is, I kept it on hard.

You'll need to find Memory Up and Memory Up DX to boost your limit. They are acquired in boxes from dungeons, as side quest rewards and the main story missions.

There is a digimon called Reppamon you can get from Wanyamon -> Kudamon -> Reppamon I HIGHLY suggest for this battle. Though its a rite of passage of sorts to lose it as it teaches you how OP status effects are.

Waifus aside Lilithmon and Sakuyamon are legitimately very good digimon that both bring real good signature moves to the table, only Orphanimon is lacking and even then she's a decent support tank.
So grinding EXP is easy, what with Plat Numes and Tactician USBs. You just do that in whatever area is mildly difficult that you can kill by throwing poop.
But how do I grind for money? I have two Billionaire USBs and can get PrinceMamemons easily enough; does it work the exact same way? Is there a mob you should look for to get dosh?

You can grab the demon lords early, yes. They just have high stat costs compared to most megas.

All Digimon have a set stat growth and cap on a per species basis. All level 99 Digimons are identical statwise barring farm training.
Several Digimon are fully capable of reaching their 'intended' evolution without any training, should their max level cap allow them to level high enough.
Example: Renamon > Kyubimon > Taomon > Sakuyamon is a Rookie to Mega line that needs absolutely zero assistance besides fucking around a bit to get the levels necessary to become Sakuyamon (like level 67 or some shit).
However, going from LadyDevimon > Lilithmon will require 50ish extra points because LadyDevimon stops at some 207 INT at level 99 and Lilithmon requires 250. LadyDevimon meets every other stat requirement waaaay earlier, but will require that extra push because it's completely impossible to get Lilithmon without training.Lilimon only needs 20 some points of INT training at 99 to become Lilithmon but plantgirls are dumb so it doesn't matter

Clarifying because this sounds completely misleading now that I posted it; all level 99 Digimons OF THE SAME SPECIES are identical barring training. Level 99 Guilmons will always be the same, so will level 99 Terriermons, etc. You can check a Digimon's stat growth per level in the little Pokedex like menu if you've ever had digivolved into one or had one.

Digimon Adventure was dubbed by Saban, the same people who did Power Rangers probably to compete with Pokemon. This was a horrible era of dubbing. Rice balls became jelly donuts in Pokemon. People were afraid of Japanese references to things because it might deter kids from watching. Digimon was actually a little better because they didn't mask the fact they were in Japan, and their names weren't "Ken" and "Jack" and stupid shit like that. But man was it still horrible. They tried to needlessly do the same thing they did with Power Rangers, so new songs, jokes everywhere, completely dumbing it down because they think (know?) American kids are really fucking stupid.
Incidentally Saban is backing Hilary Clinton with millions of dollars made from making shitty dubs.

Seconding devimon and/or clockmon for must have digimon for eater fights. Having fixed damage output (200 and 150, respectively) means they'll turn that punishing fight into a difficult random encounter, and in those specific fights they'll be more useful than anything below mega that isn't lucemon. Also don't be shy about using items if you're playing on hard, it's not like you can use them for online battles.
Especially those items that raise your evasion or your speed.
