It's incredibly attractive on paper. You have the ability to 1 shot kill people who can't fight back against you because you're too far away from them to do anything.
However what most people forget is the amount of aiming and positioning skill required for it, and the fact that generally they're so slow that you have to carefully select the best target and not just go for whoever is easiest.

It's immensely satisfying to one shot headshot people, especially in a game with a higher TTK like Dirty Bomb.
I don't mind people playing Vassili, even if we have 2-4, as long as they toss their wallhack balls out here and there. Having information on who is flanking us is super comfy. Sometimes they even get kills, or at the very least bodyshot enemies so I need less bullets to kill them.
What bothers me is when they try to act like team captains, which is pretty often. I'm not sure what it is about being a sniper, but it gives people the audacity to think they can start ordering everyone around. Of course no one ever listens to them, but the fact that they bitch the whole time about the team while being useless themselves is what irritates me.
Next in line for people who think they are team captains are suicide Proxy players. They rush in while the whole enemy team is alive, then whine about everyone not covering them. Whatever it is, repairing, planting, defusing, it's always our fault because they rushed in without thinking about how many people were alive.

Save up for Stoker. He also has a Stark with a really good card for it, which is the better of the two burst rifles. Skyhammer is great at taking down EVs too so you're not really missing a huge amount with Arty, but Stoker is great for indoors and pushing.
Plus both those mercs get automatic weapons as well.

Stopwatch is the best, but it's hard to balance the games. I had a 6v6 the other day and the teams seemed unbalanced on paper in favor of their team, but despite me being the only person over level 10 on my team, my team was rolling through their ~20 team. We made 2 people rage quit, so I switched to balance out. Me and this other guy proceeded to roll through my previous team like nothing. Very rarely is there a total balance of skill. I try to balance it when I can, but it often doesn't help.

There's a lot of assuming going on there. I know what the other anon is talking about to a degree. Though not doing any objectives at all is pretty bad. I plant if I can, I deliver if I can, I repair if I can, especially if I wipe the team, or the remaining members of the team.
But it can be pretty frustrating. I'll kill 6 of the 7 players, they have 10-20 seconds till they respawn, and I'm fighting the last guy who I either die to, or just am busy fighting. If I die, I often watch my team sitting there closer to our side than the bomb plant waiting for the enemy team despite 0-2 of them being alive. All it really takes is one eager engineer who rushes in to repair/defuse/plant to make use of the kills I get. I wouldn't say I carried in those games, but I wouldn't say the engineer did either. It would be both of us doing the work required with our teammates taking bullets for us.

It's kind of a different kind of support then that.
He weakens enemies, or finishes off already weakened ones, sometimes he blinds people or disables stuff as teammates run in somewhere to help them a little bit, sometimes he stands infront of bullets to tank damage for them, on rare occasion where it works he can lay down LMG fire in a direction to possibly keep people from pushing in (this rarely works in these games because the LMGs are usually so inaccurate that people just push in with Assault Rifles and kill the LMG guy with ease)

I think I'm done playing this game. Before I was always dealing with shit teammates and imbalanced matches but at least I could hold my own, but since I wasn't able to play for an entire day due to that maintenance I can't preform well anymore, because I'm the kind of person who can only do well on these games if I play every single day.
