I know nobody will believe me but on my one of my best friend's birthday party 4 years ago we hired Zeriyah as a scort.
Context: One of my best friends (I will call him David) it's loaded as fuck, his family it's on the oil industry, his parents live on Texas but they have properties also on California and Florida. David agreed, so David's driver took us to some classy hotel full of expensive scorts, David hired 15 girls and zeriyah was among them. My mind was telling me "you have seen that face before" but I couldn't remember.

So we went to one of the expensive big rooms on the place and we were already in full orgy mode. We all have already seen each other naked or had group sex sessions before so it wasn't a big deal (no homo).
Everyone picked at least one girl and started to get their dicks sucked off. While I was getting sucked off by a brunette I saw Zeriyah talking on the bathroom talking to one chinese girl, both were arguing.

David approached and asked Zeriyah if she didn't mind if he mounted her and if she liked going anal, she gave him a bitch look and said a loud "NO!". Everyone was like woah don't mess with the blonde and started to make jokes but David has never been the guy that take a NO! for an answer and much less likes to get made fun off.
He forcefully mounted up Zeriyah and tried to penetrate her ass by force. She screamed, snapped and said "what the fuck stop I said not there!!" and sounded genuinely in panic, Paul hit her on the face because she bit him when David surprised her, everyone went serious and what not.
Then our friend Robert said "I know that bitch, isn't she some cosplay whore?" so I remembered and I said "Yeah you're that girl from the warcraft cosplays right?" so she gave me one cold fucking look if I ever seen one, like if I did something much worse than the anal raped she was suffering at the moment.
She just pushed David back got up, gave me one final look and went out slamming the door.
The night went on and that was it.

I more or less guarantee there will be one too good card, and it will be in every deck.

Bolf would be way better if it was a Taunt. The issue with him is that the opponent can just hit face anyway and kill him with no downside to their board. With Taunt he HAS to be dealt with because he just absorbs damage spells that hit your face.

if you arcane missile someone with 1 health, and they have a bolf with one health, all the damage will hit the bolf. it still hits your face, but bolf goes to -2.
i once milled a priest that had bolf out, i did like 20 damage from fatigue with coldlights, but he took no damage because bolf took it all. bold doesnt die until the card that kills it resolves.

They could've just added 30 new beasts, pirates, mechs and dragons and we would've had an actually interesting card game for the first time. All comp decks might've been reno or aggro, but there would've been a crazy amount of variety. Regardless there hasn't been any reason to expect anything from Blizzard since 2007, so it is obvious streamers are getting paid to not shit on the shittiest expansion(rotation included) so far.

Death's bite is what makes Patrons a deck, m8. It allows you to to the turn 5 patron combo, on top of being generally amazing removal, anti-aggro, anti-everything. It also activates acolytes, armorsmiths for 0 mana. Death's Bite is just an silly good card in general.
If you don't have Naxx, then I'd say skip patrons unless you know you want to play Wild.
Too bad naxx is getting cycled out.

Is anyone else getting tired of the whole "lets make a deck super fatigue so I can play the one uber card to win" meme idea? I just hate the idea of making other people play vs. my deck for over 20 minutes. Or having a mirror match for 30 minutes.
I guess people complained about aggro so much that this is what we get, I feel that.
I just think this game is casual at heart and there is no reason why C'Thun couldn't be 0 mana 1/1 and you can buff it just as long as you want too. You want a 4/4 that does 4 random damage? Go nuts! No reason to force people to use their whole deck on a single card to win.

Wild is going to be a mess of overpowered shit and since Blizzard is determined to not sell old sets at all if you don't have the key (ridiculously unbalanced) cards and combos from those sets you'll just constantly get your shit wrecked.

If you want to buff your token on turn 4 it's to trade into something with likely 3+ attack, so you could use dark iron dwarf instead.
The only reason to use keeper of uldaman on curve is to hit preist's deathlord, but even then you need to be able to deal 3 dmg immediately because Velen's. The other reason is you have nothing better to play, but that's hardly a great midrange play.
Paladin's midrange game was so strong since gvg because minibot into muster is hard to completely get rid of, so in most cases it allows you to play shredder, BOK, or truesilver reacting to what happens, while the opponent needs to spend their board or lose a bit of tempo for aoe on his turn 4, which can really snowball. Without minibot and muster, you're likely to not even have any target for keeper on turn 4.

A deck that makes one giant monster and asks 'Can you handle this?' and if you can't, you've lost. Though they've balanced the deck out well to fit the metagame, because they also make cards that can handle the problem, and create outs to the card. If they give all the old gods the same 'buff it while it's in the deck' treatment, which it sounds like they will be doing, we could get cards like 'return all minions to their original attack and health values' that hits ALL cards, in hand/deck/field.

The battlecry is the only reason we're even having a discussion here.
The big question is how big C'thun has to get in order for the battlecry to be worth 10 mana, because the main body isn't going to get an attack in. Then the other question is if that attack number he has to reach in order for the battlecry to be worth 10 mana is realistically reachable in most games with a C'thun deck.
If the answer to that question is yes then he'll be viable.

No way in hell is that balanced, even if you put it at 11 mana.
Things like this need to have an answer. This isn't MTG, so you shouldn't be rewarded for having tons of mana, you and your opponent are on attack/retaliate terms. If you don't run the proper removal then it's a risk your deck is taking in order to better itself in other areas, but making a card ABSOLUTELY unremovable is a no-go.

I know that when he came out back in TGT everyone just called him bad and that he didn't have place in any warrior deck.
But hear me out /hsg/:
- Most Patron Warriors simply don't have any 6-drops (Except maybe for Shieldmaiden)
- With the loss of Death's Bite, another semi-whirlwind would be helpfull even if it's very random
- Patron has a lot of card draw that envolves having something on board, you could try to manipulate when to get the Sea Reaver effect
- 6/7 stats isn't that bad, it dodges BGH and still can trade with the majority of the others 6-drops
I haven't played him myself because im f2p and don't have dust atm, so can anyone that tried him talk about how did it go?

Yeah, bascially any deck you will meet on ladder except for like face shaman will run some naxx cards. Reno won't do shit if you don't have 29 solid cards to go with him, some of which are Naxx.
But if you don't have it yet, there is not much point in getting it right now besides the first wing so that you might buy the whole thing later once we know what is what exactly.

The fact he can rapidly thin your deck out and disrupt any sort of play your opponent would have made is way too good on it's own. It's the same reason why Dr. Boom is so good: instant value for the cost that makes it awkward for your opponent to do anything else.

Blizzard refused to balance post Naxx cards, so that means Wild will be shit
Also Wild has a huge paywall barrier unlike any other mode, because you cant buy the cards, which means they cost 4x as much to craft

The powerlevel of decks in wild will continue to rise and at one point it will be unplayable. That point might be far into the future, but nobody knows for sure.
Magic has a format where almost all cards that were ever printed are allowed and if your deck can't win the game on turn 1 it's basically tier 3 at best in that format.

When Naxx rotates out you can dust the cards.
Not for full value, but you'll be able to get about 3140 dust from it. A pack gives about 100 dust on average, so spending 3500 gold on Naxx will give you less dust than you'd get from packs, especially since packs can give you cards you want to use themselves without having to dust them, but when standard hits you will want to dust everything in Naxx to play standard. Of course this means going 2 months without Naxx cards, some of which are pretty OP.
The situation reverses if you spend cash to buy Naxx - it costs the same as ~18 packs, which is 1800 dust on average (potentially a lot less - a golden legendary is worth a huge amount but very rare), which is just over half the value you'd get from Naxx.
My advice is to buy all 5 wings with cash (you have 2 months to accrue a whole $25) and spend your gold on classic packs.

I think 1-drops in this game are too strong and high-cost cards are too weak in comparison.
A 1-drop like Mana Wyrm or Tunnel Trogg is disproportionally strong when compared to pretty much any 7-, 8-, 9- or 10-cost card in this game. Now Mana Wyrm and Tunnel Trogg are probably the most dangerous 1-drops in the game, but even a neutral 1-cost card like Leper Gnome or Abusive Sergeant has way more value per mana than the big guys.
High costed cards simply aren't worth their manacost in most circumstances when I can play 2 cards for the same cost and end up in a much better situation. I realize that cards are a ressource too and playing 1 card leaves me with more options than playing 2 or 3 cards for the same manacost, but I still feel like the bias towards low-cost cards, especially 1-drops, is insane.
BGH and other readily available cheap removal might be the reasons that only big cards that immediately affect the board are played, but even in a world without BGH I don't see many of the big creatures being played, because most of them simply aren't worth their mana.
