Spider-Man was running out of steam so I understand why they came crawling back, but the X-Men franchise is still going strong. Maybe if Apocalypse flops they'll start looking for alternatives, but at the moment I don't see any convincing reason why Fox would come to Marvel about this.

Probably, although they might switch it up by having some of the later cast take a more prominent role. This would be, after all, a sequel event, meaning participants should already have participated in the previous one and should have leveled enough to get a few new characters.

Yes, they do. Fox only have movie rights for the X-Men and FF properties, and now limited television rights given some recent deal with dont know all the details too. So unless that deal changed something else, Marvel is still in full control of all toys, video games, and other merchandising. So you'll never see Apocalypse movie toy tie-ins on Walmart shelves.
Marvel could green light a FF/X-Men crossover video game tomorrow if they wanted to do it. They arent going to though, because they want to blacklist any property that Fox has a connection with.

Xavier's School for the Gifted is privately funded, meaning money isn't an issue. They may have low standards, but overcrowding should not be a problem.
On the other hand, Avengers Academy is publicly financed, but it has much higher standards when it comes to students. Furthermore, its public financing comes via SHIELD, and is backed by Stark Industries, which gives them a virtual carte blanche when it comes to finances.
Which means I'd rather go to Avengers Academy, but will probably end up at Xavier's.

The taskboard missions aren't randomly generated, but rather randomly picked from a preset poor, and it currently has no missions that involve A-Bomb's tasks. So while A-Bomb does have his own tasks and story missions, he isn't used in the missions.

First of all don't dismiss missions when you still have the one with books active. Secondly do short missions even if they don't give you books.

I don't I only dismiss when I have no books on the board which happens a lot. The main problem is when there is a mission with a book it is barely any and on a long ass mission.
I am still doing helluh short missions but my drop pool is shit atm. There was a bit improvement when I first got A-bomb but when back to shit once I was done with hamburgers.
