Taking away a ranger's daggers is actually more counterproductive than leaving them equipped. Ranger pawns are gonna engage in melee combat eventually/inevitably and there's literally nothing you can do about it, so you might as well let them deal some good damage when they do.
On the other hand, you could give them some upgraded Rusted Daggers for delicious poison+torpor shenanigans whenever they melee something. It's like giving a Strider pawn a Rusted Bow.

Magick Rebalancer can stack up to 4 times (so four casts in a row) with a ~25% increase to your magick each cast. 4 casts doubles your magick, give or take. If you're in BBI, use Ricochet Hunter and watch Death melt in front of you. Pre-BBI you can pretty much use whatever you see fit

If you're on kb/m, go into inventory, click on item, press number key (only supports 1-5). You'll see the number on top corner of icon. When you press it, it'll tell you the item is used.
I've read somepeople set up hotkeys on their controller somehow, but I'm using kb/m.
