I acutely got a little misty eyed when I pictured some of the scenes in there in my head.
For something that started as a simple little shower thought I did not expect it to extend into a 20 something page 11,600 word flippin' essay. It took around 13 days to do in around 3-5 hour blocks per writing session. cutting out the days I didn't work it it it's more like 5 days... if only I could've been this motivated when I did my final year dissertation I've have spent the last months of Uni kicking back and relaxing.

I always figured that was because those SOULs weren't his, since SOULs carry the trait of the original holder, Flowey couldn't get back his empathy from them, just use the immense power he got from them until they rebel.
Then in the Asriel fight idk they have enough SOUL power to call back Asriel's SOUL from wherever SOULs disappear to when monsters die, but it eventually disappears again when that power is no longer holding it for Asriel.
