I don't know what's keeping me up. Last night I tried to get back asleep at a normal time, but wound up staring at the ceiling in bed for a few hours until like 5AM anyway. I'm still job hunting, so I don't have any real obligations to follow a normal human sleep schedule anyway. I think my lack of work makes it hard to sleep. At college I could easily fall asleep at 11PM and wake up at 5AM without an alarm, and be ready for the day.

I did a True Pacifist the first time too, I just really liked the way you could spare shit. And all of the monsters were so funny and charming, I didn't want to kill them given how great their responses to spare-conditions and stuff were.
I killed Toriel, though. I'm actually glad I did, becausethe moment when the game reveals it knows what you did after you reset and then Flowey shits on you hardcore for it, I knew Undertale was going to be different. I don't think a game has ever shocked or chilled me like that, before or since, and it really grabbed me.
Wish I'd known not to waste my sympathy on damned Asgore though, I died like twenty times trying everything to avoid having to fight the fucker.

The point of that comic (I assume you're mostly talking about this one?) Isn't really to point out anything about Papyrus but to show how much stress Asgore must have been under to gather the souls and break the barrier (it's said to be the only thing keeping a large part of the monster population going). After all in the end it shows Sans being the one to actually do it not Papyrus.

The King Papyrus ending proves that things changed because of who was now ruling, this comic just makes Papyrus into a carbon-copy of Asgore, except Sans does his killing for him.
Turning the sad skeleton into the sad goat is lazy and boring, especially when he alreadt has plenty of reasons of his own for being sad without piggybacking on Asgore's dilemma.

Well its not like the dilemma disappears, hes still the king and thus is expected to do his best to help his people and for the monsters the expected way to do that is by breaking the barrier. Its more realistic that the monsters would immediately jump back to the gather soul plan as soon as a different human fell rather then just suddenly be cool with staying underground forever. It also fits that Papyrus would thus be under a lot of stress to preform that duty like Asgore was doing, though like you said Papyrus is not Asgore so he would probably do something different (rather or not the monsters would go along with it or overthrow him is up to you)

Because you made your initial selection at a 1/3 (or 1/100 or whatever) odds. That means there is a 2/3 (99/100 etc) odds you were wrong.
Now, you're asked to reselect. However, the reselection has collapsed into only one other option. You cannot choose the remaining 33% (or another 1% etc.). Those options are off the table. There is only one option left to you in the Monty Hall problem, and that is equivalent to EVERY option you didn't take the first time.
