Design looks more in-line with the series, none of the background drama (her dad being a dick, her "royal duties" overriding everything, an improbably "secret past" with Knuckles that just led to more forced drama), and she generally comes off as friendlier and more easygoing. I especially like that she has more goofy moments (bad jokes, bad cooking, the bit asking her dad for money) but when shit goes down she doesn't back down as easily as she tended to pre-reboot (I just keep remembering all the times her dad told her "you can't do that" and she just gave in, or all the times she got mopey over her relationship with Sonic).

It's actually kind of sad, he was commissioned by SEGA for the 1993 calendar and didn't receive any royalties for all the times they reused the images he made on the various pieces of merch (terms of the contract). Of course he was young and at the time but even so he did get a little screwed over by them. It's good to hear he might be doing something for them again though.

I can tell you getting pinball physics like that to work in 3D is a veritable nightmare. I can see why they tried to move away from that, but they've not done a good job of it.
Boost2Win is fun in its own way, but it becomes a perfectionist run at later stages. But it feels somewhat rewarding to, say, blow through Adabat without a death.
Anyway, something tells me we're not going to see another boost game again unless they realized a way to refine it further so boost actually takes some skill without throwing in a cheap death. Frankly, I don't think it can be done.

I've seen him at Summer of Sonic before in 2013 (and I'm very much ashamed to admit I never got round to photographing him). I'll be honest, it does kinda look like he slept in that costume, a little worn round the edges. There was also a guy dressed as Wes Weasley there, whom I also saw at Summer of Sonic (and again, I didn't take a picture of, probably because I thought I'd already done so at Summer Of Sonic). He's also a pretty cool guy and a fairly decent artist.

I have to say, Weston Super Mare is a pretty decent place to visit, having never been there before myself I'd certainly go there again. Also The Grand Pier is a pretty sweet spot, great indoor arcade (in fact there are a few arcades in WSM, some even with old machines). Unfortunately I didn't bother to go and have some fish and chips or play Time Crisis but I did manage to win a few 2p coins on those penny pushing machines (I now have a back pocket of about 40 pence worth of 2 penny coins).
