Last thread someone told me my inclinations were bad so i worked on them some and my pawn is golden for me.

It doesn't do a forward roll, but it shows you extra information in the menu that would tell you how.It's Primary Skill Shift + Jump, or Control + Space with the default controls.

Loading screens aren't necessarily long unless you have ENB installed. However, after a couple tests, it seems alt-tabbing doesn't pause the loading process.

It probably is marketing, yeah. When I first heard about DDs AI I figured it was just a simple pretend self learning AI where it could copy simple combos and that was about it, but the depth of this AI is completely insane, you can teach it things the devs didn't even take into account while making the game. It's unlike anything I've ever seen.
From a pure gameplay perspective it's brilliant as well because it motivates the player to always play well, because if you slip up and play like shit, your pawn will pick up bad habits.

If you set your portcrystals up ahead of time and have the levels/gear, you should be able to hit post-game within half an hour if you plan right and book it.

I'm going to be you want a Mystic Knight, so level 1-10 Fighter then 11-30 Mage, 31-50 Warrior, 51-70 Sorcerer, 70-100 Assassin then do it all over again from 100-200 then you'll be able to play Mystic Knight.

assassin has the highest damage increase per level with 8 split as 6/2
sorcerer has the highest mag damage per level split as 2/5
if you want the absolute highest DPS you would level assassin to 200 and then spam blast arrows but as a mystic knight your damage is dependent on both physical and magic attack so you want to strike a balance. the mystic knight orb attack damage is split 40/60 between physical and magic damage and is the easiest way to farm the ur dragon.

I'm currently level 37, trying to make a melee warrior build (not min/maxing, but I want to focus mostly on health, strength, and stamina). What augments do you think you guys think would be most appropriate for raw killing power? I'm already rank 10 in warrior, 8 in strider, and 5 fighter and assassin. Here's my current setup, mixing both defense and offense:

For frame of reference, Warriors have a skill called pommel bash that is their main blunt damage move if they're using a sword. Skeletons are deathly allergic to it, and the giant skeletons in BBI I've only personally fought using pommel bash and explosive barrels, so if you rent Dante from the pawnlist, you'll notice that he ONLY uses pommel bash and explosive barrels against giant skeletons.

keep playing till you get portcystals mate. Dark Arisen through in a bunch more per-playthrough. It used to be that you'd only get ONE. PER PLAYTHROUGH. After you get two or three you can basically fast travel and nullify most long distance treks. we also get a free infinite use ferrystone to boot.
I highly suggest you walk most places your first playthrough first though, just to get a lay of the land and to find out where most things are hidden.

Why are you playing hard? Don't play hard. It's not designed for first playthroughs. You can finish the game and then play the game again in hard. Also once you finish the game you should go to BBI which is the DLC area which turns up the difficulty a lot and is great. Hard makes everyone deal stupid damage and you run out of stamina in 2 seconds. It's not well designed. You can try each class 10 levels on a normal game and be fine. Min maxing isn't important so long as you spend most of your time as either a class that gains magic or a class that gains strength more and choose one in the end. Everyone needs Hp so levels on fighter or warrior are never wasted.
Stop comparing this game to Dark Souls. They have almost zero similarities.

The griffin bane quest was great, everything until the end made me so happy.
Though bandits, chests everywhere, you have to go out of your way ( not that much though ) to find them in bluemoon tower. So many items.
Got 2x gloves that increase stagger, I'm at 416 and stagger even shield enemies with a 1hand mace.
I carried my pawns hard though, my mage with legion might was great with different buffs until the griffin were she decided to use nothing but holy, weird. They were no match for the bandits before the tower.

What config file? Why would it be in your steamapps? Download the program here

Then open the program. If DD is running (ideally in window mode), it will be on the left side of the program. click the > button to send it to the right. Now MINIMIZE (don't close) the program and it goes to the system tray instead of the taskbar (so it's kind of like closing it, except actually closing it ends the program entirely). Now just go back to DD and in a second it'll adjust to be borderless. If you have any issues at all just restart the game. In rare cases it doesn't adjust correctly the very first time.

That's how I felt. When I played it on console it was way too easy on the normal difficulty and hard mode literally didn't exist back then.
I figure I'd go hard mode this time on PC for a change of pace and to hopefully make the game actually challenging but I'm still getting 1-shotted by attacks 20 hours in as a Fighter and the deaths are making me want to restart even though I don't wan to restart. Hell no. Look at the rewards, most of them are absolute shit. The only sidequests you absolutely should do are the kill x enemies ones because you'll probably do those as you wander about, the Golden Idol quest for expanding one of the shops, and the Witchwood series because it unlocks the second half of that area and there's unique loot/a boss there. Other than those the rest are mostly shit filler.

how far are you into the game? I want to avoid spoilers. There's one spot unlocked after a point in the game where you can just grab two sorcerer pawns with Maelstrom and just AFK.
Generally though, discipline gain is a percentage of experience gain. However, the more experience you get at once, the less proportional discipline you get. If the enemy yields 100xp or less, you get 40% discipline points, meaning if you're grinding discipline it's best to kill very weak enemies.
