Oh cool, this game has a general. May I ask why? It probably has some really neat multiplayer. Anyways, I recently picked up the game and I want to spec into guns. Probably heavy weaponry, maybe explosives? And I don't mind having melee as a secondary if it's something large or has high utility. Having a huge gun and a shield would be optimal, I think that's the class that Lin uses. But for the most part I need something big and angry, that either shoots fast as hell with crazy DPS, or hits really hard. Rifles are fine as long as they're not snipers, unless those are actually fun or super good. What ranged classes do you guys reccommend? I'm gonna read the OP after this post, just tell me what you guys like.

I think my weapons are okay at most, definitely can upgrade em. They're both prime and ether, level 60. My dual guns have Potential up xiii, critical chance up xiii, and theroid slayer (lol). I use 100% melee combo damage boost with 50% melee combo crit boost, infinite overdrive essence exchange abuse, starfall blade, rondo and blossom, assault hammer for endless toppling, starlight duster and galactic cataclysm because giant beam sword, and geolibrium. Also have over dive heal augment so essence exchange has no penalty anymore.

I'm new to the game, and there are a few classes I'm interested in. Specifically, those are Bastion Warrior, Astral Crusader and Duelist. Can you guys tell me a bit more about these classes, their play styles and what it's like on the journey to unlocking them? I want as much information as possible before I move away from Drifter and pick my first REAL class. Also, how long does it take to level up a class, anyways?
You might suggest I wing it and roll with Striker, because it chains into two different classes I would like, but you never know if Astral Crusader will end up being my dream class. What are Javelins and how do they work? Do they have range or are they just sticks you poke people with?

I just did a bunch of quests so I can make an ether attack plus xx. Jesus christ, secondary accelerator is fucking nuts. I did half of Grav's health until his add got me. Once you're down to 1 you should pass it to someone else, yes. If it hits 0 you should just sell because even NPC repairs will cost money.

just use it when it runs out, or at the correct time so that you are going the animation when a multi-hit attack is coming your way

Early on you want to use it ASAP since the cooldown is long. Try to do it after a melee art so to take advantage of Fast Forward.
Once your counter is high enough, you can wait for the secondary cooldown most times.
If you see an enemy charging a multihit attack, use it there, regardless of secondary or not.

Alright, awesome. That's what i've been doing. Trying to kill grav is such a bitch. I get to the point where I start timing it and I usually start getting the secondary cool down too. I always misplay to the point where it costs me though. I just got sent flying and as soon as I got up I was killed.

the parasite movements are a little weird and you can sometimes kill them, sometimes not, but the danger that comes from him is the topples and also those assholes, which means spamming tornado and true stream when one is alive and hoping it dies fast

I'm actually using photon saber. I get to him and overdrive, primer + early bird then I mash ghost walker and go into my combo. The generic bnb - blossom, blade, rondo, and duster. Then redo buffs, etc. The most i've done was half health until eventually misplaying into a stomp/add.

Why are you using Photon Saber and not Astrolibrium? I'm pretty sure Gradivus doesn't have attacks that pierce reflect, so you don't even need memewalker against it.

Is there anyway I can show ALL my buffs at one time? It only shows one icon next to my nameplate and it's really difficult to know "oh Offensive Stance is down" or "Meme walker is down" or primer etc.
