So does this gap ever bridge itself? I feel like my Sorcerer is leagues beyond my Ranger in power. They're two different saves so they're roughly equal in level (17ish). I don't know whats causing such a huge rift in damage, but its incredibly disconcerting.

Press the home key or open McFX.cfg to toggle AO in v2. For performance in v1/v2 you can disable the depthbuffercalc in Common.cfg for a few FPS if you don't want depth effects(AO/DOF). In v3 I think I have it turned off already.
Read v3's readme if you want to try that one, it's kind of what I'm using though I updated it a bit, I think I just made greens less green and added spherical tonemapping. v4 will include ENB but only if I can figure out how to isolate AO and get more performance, I'm sitting at a silky 53fps in combat which isunplayable.

A'ight, so here's the deal. You need to do three things:
>Get to Duskmoon Tower
>Get the key for the next area with the Warrior's Respite zone
>Get to Warrior's Respite and grab the Moonbeam Gem
First and last parts are easy peasy. It's getting the key that's rough.
So enter the first room of BBI, go ahead and run past everything and down into the courtyard. Death shows up. Run off to the right and follow the path to a door. Now you're in Duskmoon Tower.
Now the hard part. Somewhere down and to the right is another door, you'll be going in here to get the key. Enter, follow the path around and around sprinting past now much harder enemies until you get to the next door. Enter the gorecyclops room
You will want to enter the main chamber then run forward and start climbing up. At the very top is the key next to a chest. If you've been looting you may have found a wakestone, if so drop all the way down to your death, revive, and sprint out. Otherwise good luck climbing back down. Either way this part will likely take multiple tried.
Now back to Duskmoon, ahead and to the right should be a locked door. Open it and enter. From here walk straight forward and climb the stairs up towards the Warrior's Respite. Search around the Respite, it's a safe area, until you come across the Moonbeam Gem (I think it was near a desk among some clutter©]. Now head back to Duskmoon.
Go to your left until you reach another door that leads to two sealed doors. Open the one on your right, enjoy your ring.

For bow users I have a setup that uese their melee skills with 1 button and If I hold thumbbutton it switches to SecondaryBow mode, makeing Leftmouse shoot and those the same skill button from before into the secondary skills. I think this works well for shields too
Basicly removed 1 modifer
For mages I have 6 keybinds for every spell without releasing the modifer and then thumbutton is there to release it or change into aim mode when I hold it and then cast upon button release.
makes it much more fun cause I can aim everything with mouse and don't have this weird controller combinations I have to press.
I think Bow/Staff could be weird though, havnt tested that yet with either.

So I read that you're able to add augments from other vocations. My question is, when is the best time to gain ranks on other vocation?
For example, I plan on going with a fighter build, even though I'll only use my dp for fighter skills or other class augments, when I level up, I still inherit the level up stats of that particular vocation I'm currently on, right? So it would be useless to gain any levels as a mage or sorcerer due to their low stat growths and such.

If you want to meme-max, you'll either want to keep the augment grinding until you're level 200, or if you're truly aughtistic you can switch vocations every time you're about to level up, so the vocations still get XP but you only get the stat gainst from the "right" vocation.
Or, if you're not retarded, you can just grab your desired augments ASAP so you don't have to spend all game playing a class other than the one you want to play. The only "downside" to this is that your stats will probably end up a bit more balanced.

Worst part was the game itself looked better, the screenshots were auto-compressed and you had to have a Facebook account to retrieve them.

At first I didn't agree with you, but your second point is correct. I don't particularly care for minmaxing unless I plan for it, but the average gamer today couldn't beat the first level of Galaga. When I play stuff like Guild Wars 2 or Planetside, my jaw drops at how awful some people are at videogames.
