Two things I don't get about online so far:
The maps are small enough that you can sprint from one team's spawn to the other in like 5 seconds, but you can select spawn points all over the map, or spawn on your buddy, and there's no spawn timer at all. Every game I've been in so far has ended up with both teams cluttering tightly in one area and leaving 90% of the map completely unused. How are you supposed to sneaky beaky anything when it's constant gunfights and no downtime at all?
Secondly, if every class starts out the same, and you have to unlock their basic abilities by leveling up, what was the point of having classes at all? Why not just having the skill system like MGO2?
Everything is just leaving me asking "why would they do that?"

I have an enforcer and a scout and scout is by far my favorite. A lot of variety and you can rack up as many kills as an enforcer if you're good with a sniper rifle and find good spots to survey from. You can make really effective long range and close range builds but I think where scout really shines is mid range with a flip scope assault rifle. Favorite thing to do with scout though is long range recon/counter-sniping

Every mark I made was unknown prior to the mark and each mark was hunted down instead of being ran into randomly. All marked enemies made 0 kills after being marked and nearly all unmarked enemies made kills. I got more exp than any enforcer on my team and no one died when pushing a point.

The spawn on buddy needs to be more consistent, I've had one person spawn on his buddy 3 times before he eventually got me. Yet I can't spawn on mine more than once.

These companies are too terrified to release a real beta (i.e. a bugfest requiring lots of breaking and fixing) so they polish a demo as much as they can and only CALL it a "beta". It got so bad "beta" lost its impact so they started releasing "alphas" and then after those became passé they were replaced by fucking "pre-alphas"! But it's all exactly the bastard same. The definitions of these terms in development are already set in stone by the way, go read wiki page on the "software release life cycle" for info.
Indie devs are much more likely to release a real beta.

Kaz had a mask on him probably from the moment they caught him. He's a valuable target, as an American in a combat zone the US wasn't officially involved in. The Soviets want what he knows, and they want him for potential leverage. One or two of their senior officers would handle the questioning. But the torture? Who would the Soviet high command task with inflicting pain enough to turncoat this seasoned mercenary? Who could they trust? Only their best, of course.
Ocelot tortured Kaz. Potentially crippled him. Kaz never knew. Soviet officers asked the questions, Ocelot did the torturing when Kaz didn't answer. Just like he does for Kaz in Mother Base against Huey.
