You can only get up to 48 chests per year, with unique champions.
The chests may contain shards of something you already own. To reroll you need 3 shards.
Sometimes the chests contain essences, otherwise you need to disenchant the shards.
And they cannot be bought with IP. Nice.
I haven't used it but I really hope they change the limitation - either 4 per month with no champion limit or one per champion, no limit.

Because Warwick is a shitty champion that has a stronger variation in the meta. Anyone who picks warwick would be picking Vi and have a much better engagement, can gank earlier, and will have actual damage.
