The game has shit-tier directional audio so it doesn't really make a difference. There is no smooth transitions in audio volume, its either on or off. Close your eyes and you can't tell the exact direction of anything. Important sounds that should play are randomly deleted and you hear irrelevant stuff from the other end of the map. Well I've sort of accepted having some crappy perks. I use M61 on Stoker just for Drilled, Mechanic is super situational and the only time I use Flying Pig is on Bridge like once or twice per match to save <10HP.

What if perks had different effects dependent on the merc? Would be pretty good to balancing too, since you could do stuf like: "unshakeable on merc x: 20%, unshakeable on merc y: 22%" or something.

I wish there was some kind of system to how the loadouts are constructed. Like
per weapon, have:
-one combat oriented loadout (i.e. Drilled, Focus, Spares)
-one ability/utility-oriented loadout (i.e. Explodydendron, Quick Draw, Mechanic)
-one rounded loadout (no drilled, no primary ability augments, but things like Unshakable and improved ammo)
OR
have every card have the following:
-one or two combat augment(s) (drilled, quick draw, focus, chopper, quickslash)
-one or two primary ability augment(s) (Explody, Get Up, Lock On, etc)
-one defense/utility augment (Extra ammo, guardian angel, unshakable, bomb squad, etc)
