Blessing of light gives you an extra healthbar to fire away with Touch of Malice, so you can use it extensively to get rid of ogres and light eater knights. Just step back into the bubble and your shield is restored, giving you immense firepower outside of the aura of immortality.
Ideally, you want that defender on one of the platforms when the ogres spawn. For overkill, have a second defender on the same platform, but with weapons of light. That gives you extra health for Touch of Malice plus a 50% damage boost.

This is an idea the Dev's must have talked about at some point or another. What if we had weapon type proficiency, so the more you used Snipers or Pulses you got bonuses for increasing your proficiency rank. This would be subtle so its not overpowered or create a skill gap between players who play all the time and players who dont play as often. That's when I had a good idea, what if it buffed Stability and Reload of one weapontype by 5 or 10%. And that would be the max, you would have to level up to reach the max percentage. It wouldnt really make much of a difference until you got it to max but it would still be something new to level up.
Anyway they probably threw that idea out early.

Guys guys I need help!
So, before Christmas I kept getting dragged into failed raids by the guy I live with. It took us like 4-5 weeks to finally get to Oryx and the people I was forced to play with were just too dumb to kill Oryx.
Then it came Christmas, so I got a week or two off of raiding. During this time I just decided to let my Xbox live gold run out so I could be like "nah, don't feel like paying just to raid once a week". And it worked for a while! I got out of 8 hours a day 7 days a week of failed raiding.
Anyway. Since then the people who kept dragging me to the raid have failed hard as fuck. They've not managed to get past Golgoroth. They've also lost another player and been filling the blanks with random people they can find (who never stay long).
The problem is, right now, I can hear the guy I live with talking to his friends and they are PLOTTING. Plotting how to get me back to doing the raid. This means from tomorrow onwards, I'm going to have this guy pestering me constantly about doing this raid.
What excuse can I use to tell him to politely fuck off?What's a painless method of suicide?

What do you think? If we get a Cabal expansion Zavala would likely be our main contact in the tower. He's the most military guy of the three, most knowledge of tactics and direct combat. Him accompanying us in Cabal centered DLC would make sense, even if it's just over comms.
Also, he had a history with Valus Ta'aurc as he said in the one story mission. I think it's either Enemy of my Enemy or outbound signal.

TLW is exactly where it needs to be. Good at close range and terrible anywhere else. Only thing that really needs tweaking right now is slower auto rifles, Thorn, and maybe slower pulses.

I fucking preached this shit months ago when they did the balance patch. I knew that nerfing shotguns into the ground would make the already OP snipers even worse. I was outraged they didn't nerf snipers in that patch.

The only reason you think sniper's are overpowered right now is because everyone is using them. This is partially due to the blink nerf and flinch being nearly nonexistent as well as latency playing a part. If it wasn't 1KYS it would be something else.

This meta is literally the most putrid dogshit excuse for PvP I've ever had the displeasure of playing in over a decade. It's clear this morons at Bungie have no idea what they want to do with this game. Couple this with the absolute fucking dogshit maps this game has, it makes for a hugely displeasureable experience.
I'm not surprised at all this game is dying, it's like Bungie is actively trying to get people to stop playing their game because this current PvP balance is so beyond shit that I have to think it's on purpose.

Weirdly enough it was way better back in vanilla, which was before any of their attempts to really even balance it.
It was after they started making changes that it all fell apart, at least in my opinion. Apart from anything else, it doesn't feel fun any more. It certainly used to.

Not really, Shotgun were just so strong that there was no reason to use snipers, when shotguns were brought in line with the correct special power level snipers were not touched. Snipers have always been strong, we just couldn't see it because Shotguns were just stronger for 1 1/2 years.

I agree with most of those, but I think that Highest Impact class Snipers should still almost kill with body shots, but have enough recoil that a double tap is unrealistic to hit 90% of the time.

The problem is Bungie has actively nerfed everything that's not snipers so now snipers trump literally every other gun. With Low Zoom scopes sniper rifles are excellent mid range and sometimes even close range weapons. If you can't get a headshot rid range just switch to your Primary and shoot one bullet and they're dead.

Thats no good either, what they can do instead is have them not have metal arms and have the rectical and weapon sway wildly with their movements so they cant get precision shots while doing 360's

High Impact snipers should have high recoil like you said, and reduced fire rate. Two-shotting is way to viable a tactic.
