When the arcanists guild was established in Limsa he decided to join it as quickly as he could. After becoming a novice and having to a point where he has to study for himself, he was a great opportunity in becoming an adventurer as he could explore all the wonderful lands he read about ehen growing up and hopefully see some new ones so he could too write a book and have people listen to him without him getting flustered.
