His early game is rough, but six slotted Slark is a fucking monster that I hate fighting. He can also easily get back into the game after being shut down by a couple good pickoffs. He doesn't need all that much to go ham.

I disagree, but he's certainly not a meta pick at any rate. He's not inherently bad, but other carries and semi carries exist that are much better. Jugg has much higher damage output, and his free Heart benefits the entire team, and his purge is way better with Bladefury since it also gives him magic immunity for the duration.

The only way you can get better at carrying is to play carries. And carry.
Now if people refuse to learn from their mistakes and don't improve that's one thing. But I've taken the time to learn this game. I'd say I'm familiar although hardly an expert with every hero, and I know how to build mostly everyone. I don't particularly like playing carries, I have much more fun with cores and supports. I can carry, but I'm not great at it, although I figure I'll have to keep trying until I am really good at it if I want to break 4k. For now I just want to get to 3k.
So after watching Ephey, I understand that watching anime as a guy makes you worse at dota, but does it make you better if you're a girl?
