Use this. For normal gunning silver los is easily the best. WE+Crit Boost is ridiculously strong. I'm using a Challenger+2, Pierce Up, CE+3 set for pierce with the +15 Expert feather, but my charms aren't very good. That set has Pierce Up +3 OOO.

For pierce the key piece is Akantor R shoes for Pierce Up +5 and two slots. For challenger the key pieces are Brachy S chest and Gore R waist. Work from there.

R to draw, lets me charge a shot and move the camera at the same time easily. I played through all of 3U 3DS as a bow main so I was already used to the virtual dpad, and having easier access to it in 4U is way better than hitting L all the time to keep up with the monster.

tri is still the best monster hunter desu
So what makes bushido bow so great? I mean yeah the easy dodging is awesome but I'm finding I'm getting better times just using guild style and good positioning. That double backhop works wonders too. The bushido evade still takes a lot of time and doesn't always get me in critical distance.
Oh and is aerial bow worth using at all? Seems kind of shitty

This doesn't seem to work. I put the backed up extdata folder back on my SD and MHX gives me some kind of error message when I start the game, presumably telling me that the data is corrupted or something.

Just Striker, which lets you overcharge the 3rd level without consequences like in FU; there's no 4th charge level.
