Ayyy new thread, perfect timing.

Would anyone be interested in a fanfic regarding the origin of Chloe and Rachel's relationship? It would be pretty long, a few chapters long. It would look at the early stages of Chloe's teen life, being kicked out of Blackwell, planning to runaway, Joyce and David getting married and meeting Rachel. It would show how Rachel and Chloe started to bond over issues from their past, giving a little peak into Rachels life and just overall how there relationship begun and grew. It would show similarities between Max and Rachel and maybe show why Chloe has a thing for their type. It would show Chloe's dialogue and her actions over a long period of time morphing from person to another, showing how she changed from an angry teen to a rebellious troublemaker with the help of Rachel. It would also cover how Chloe deals with certain situations that happen (argument with a friend) and how Rachel would deal with the same situation, only a lot more intense, with Chloe taking note and slowly over the course of the story shaping her into the Chloe we know, love and meet in Life is Strange.

It would be written as it's own story (you wouldn't need to play Life is Strange to understand the characters) there'll be explanations and character introductions, twists and turns, contained within the time frame of William dying and LIS starting. I would try to keep it as unpredictable as possible, considering we know what will actually happen with these characters down the line.

So would anyone be interested in reading something like that?

I've seen a few people do stuff about Rachel and Chloe, but I think they're all been abandoned. Although the general tone seemed to be: Chloe was in love with Rachel, Rachel loved Chloe (But was not in love with her), but they would fuck when high, and then Chloe would try to make things more, where as Rachel just wanted to be friends and was with Frank.
Rachel was both one of Chloe's few sources of joy, but also a large source of her stress.

Seems like I don't see people comparing the ending of this game that much to the ending of The Last of Us, even though it seems obvious that it must have been influenced by that, as well as Fallout 4 was.

I've seen so many people complain about the ending being generic and cliche and whatever, and it's true that it is derivative, the butterfly effect thing we've all seen plenty of times before, but I actually can't really think of anything else that came before it that used the trolley problem aside from TLoU. My problem with the whole trolley problem discussion is the point of the trolley problem isn't about the morality of pulling or not pulling the lever, it's about an individual's consistent morality. It's 'if you agree to pull the lever and sacrifice the one for the many, would you do the same if you had to physically push a human off a bridge above the tracks to stop the train'. It's designed to point out the inconsistencies of subjects refusing to push the man but agreeing to pull the lever.
In LiS, Max's choice is the 'lever' - it's Nathan who does the dirty work. So what would happen if Max had to physically shoot Chloe instead? If we were subsequently forced to make that choice, then you would have the true trolley problem.
But none of this makes for satisfying narrative in a story that doesn't sell itself as a philosophical experiment.

I think Chloe would keep her hair about the same length. And probably the same blue (Or another color), I could not see her going back to being blonde. It would remind her of being younger and would remind Max of the Paralyzed Chloe. Her clothes would probably be a little more professional depending on her job (She still has the leather jacket for her bike). I think she would drop the loose tanktops. She still keeps her bullet necklace, but maybe added a blue feather onto it.

As for Max. I've only seen one person try to draw her grown up (http://lifeisfineandnothinghurts.tumblr.com/post/133848430571/im-being-slow-on-my-comics-right-now-so-until) but she looks more like she'd be in Africa photographing lions.
I like Gaberoid's idea for Max. Same hair color but in a pixie cut. She'd probably dresses in typical teacher clothes when at work: Either slacks (sometimes a skirt and maybe tights) and a blazer. I think maroon would be a good color for her jacket.

My last ban here was because of a Dana and Kate story.

It was late night and the newest vortex club part was a true success. No drugs were involved as Nathan had been arrested for his previous drugging of Kate and the discovery of Rachel Ambers body, leaving Kate relieved when Dana promised her everything was going to be fine. With her car pulling up outside of Blackwell, Dana looked over to Kate. She had been knocked out the entire journey and waking her up seemed like a bad idea. Getting out of the car and taking herself over to Kate's passenger side, Dana opened the door and lifted her out, carrying her in a position which she would soon regret. Kate was slung over her shoulder, her ass in Dana's face. Once she had locked her car, Dana started to walk her way through the academy grounds towards the girls dorm, it was already past curfew and being caught would not look good for either of them.

Dana held her breath, being cautious about her steps so she wouldn't make a sound. The security guard was passing by, which caused Dana to take refuge with Kate behind a wall. The guard was almost gone until a light pitched squeak was heard, clearly coming from Kate's ass. Dana's eyes widened. She didn't know this could come from Kate, of all people. She wasn't too worried about the guard hearing the gas leak, until it formed into a blast which rumpled in Dana's ears. The smell was horrible, but Dana couldn't cover her nose otherwise she'd drop Kate.

My problem with LIS in Dissidia is that it'd open the floodgates. If LIS got in, you'd have Kingdom Hearts tumblrinas demanding Sora or Riku, you'd have DQ fans wanting their characters in, you'd have Nier, Grandia, Full Metal Alchemist or whatever else's fans demanding their character make it in too because how dare Life Is Strange get priority over them.

Now some of those games, I'll admit, would be awesome in Dissidia, but I'd much prefer Dissidia was kept as a mainline FF thing.

Chloe fights by herself.
She build ups and unleashes Max. Who can freeze time, while holding Chloe's hand so the two of them can move. Then Chloe gets a few seconds to beat the shit out of who she's fighting.
Or if you take a lot of damage you can have Max rewind, you regain the health lost during that time, and you know how to counter what originally hurt you.
Her victory pose involves cheering while Max takes a picture of her celebrating.
Her defeat pose is collapsing onto her knees and crying, with Max comforting her.

It's not a video game but give Twin Peaks a shot. It has a similar atmosphere compared to LiS and is generally comfy.
