Some things to note, there's no mention of any of the other girls, unlike what they did for Christmas, so not sure if the others will get kimono as well for the 2nd half of the month.
When the New Year event ends, we are getting the results of the name for Team Blue and they're getting an event for the rest of the month. I don't think it will be the outfit release/performance yet, it should be in addition to some other event as usual to build-up character, but who knows.

Do you even need a LB0 sword?
If you've been playing for a while then your main weapon should be the LB4 cerberus dagger on dark fencer and a celeste axe on weapon master for useful classes that use swords.
I could meme and say to get beatrix just to see someone waste money and a ticket but I'm feeling helpful today and your dark team looks 100% complete so that ticket would be better used to get a character that would help your other teams like the ones you listed.

Getting one or two 4*'s in one roll is actually pretty normal where you can go several 10-rolls without a 4* in shironeko and it hurts.

You wouldn't think that if you're not getting you're waifu constantly, or if the gacha is refusing you access to her and instead gives dupes. Which used to not be a problem, you could trade in for her and never worry about losing her since exchanged cards are locked. But they stopped that to get completionists, try-hards, and waifu-fags alike to open their wallet more.
But, this gacha does nothing for anyone who doesn't have a waifu in it and we don't know if they'll get anything on the 15th when this one leaves.
Also, maybe something changed recently? I had really horrible luck with Halloween gacha but have had considerably better luck from December on.

I'm talking about pulls in general.
The average 10+1 pull in shironeko wil give you a 4* at the very least even if its not who you were aiming while failed pulls without 4* are rare after the rate increase.
Meanwhile in shironeko pulls without a 4* are painfully common and may RNG help you if you're aiming for someone in particular.

I got him second and helped me a lot to farm the materials used to limit break characters early on and a lot more of items, plus when you start you have shit weapons and shit damage so you don't contribute much in events/bp battles damage wise so I was the guy who went with double Treasure Hunt (lvl 3 from hawkeye, plus level 2 as your EX) and stacked the bosses with that skill while everyone else was dedicated to make damage. He becomes crazy good in mid/late game when you get his weapon class.

When I'm going for someone in particular in Shironeko (read: when I was going for Ruushe,) I switch to single rolls once I run out.
Objectively it's most likely worse, but it's easier for me to repeatedly shake off getting junk from 25 gems and go farm another 25, then to spend a full 250 not getting who I want and go farm another 250.
Also means I don't know exactly how much she cost me, besides "a lot."

The weapons do get a bit more focus than in BGHS, since they have their own active and more passive skills, and the trade-in system.
But it's still more about the characters. A badass character with a subpar weapon is going to be weaker, but still pretty viable. A great weapon with nobody worth using it on isn't gonna help you much.

Colow and Diabolos are character attack up, making them a little different from attack summons. Diabolos' active is 10% attack/defence debuff, not blind. Olivia is also character attack so watch out when using it against non-light elements. Odin at 4* gives 30% character attack when the party has a mix of light and dark characters. No one really divides up their weapon pool for Grande, the general setup concentrates out bringing out the best of the attacker(s) in a Grande party. Grande basically lets you bypass racial differences and is where characters like Eustace can shine the most. Having played both, personally I prefer Shironeko more atm. BGHS is cute but every stage is more or less the same in terms of layout, whereas Shironeko actually has surprised me pleasantly with the amount of detail and thought that they've put into their stages. Basic Damage = Attack Power * (1 + Magna Attack % * Magna Summon) * (1 + Other Attack % + Character Up) * (1 + Elemental Weakness + Element Up) * (1 + Unknown Attack %)
Basically, element atk up summons go into (1 + Elemental Weakness + Element Up) while element character atk up summons go into (1 + Other Attack % + Character Up). Character up is where normal weapon atk ups go into too.
Straight element atk up summons tend to have the bigger numbers (you won't find character atk up higher than 40% I think ?), so generally the difference don't matter all that much. Though I haven't really done testing, element character attack up would logically effect off-element attacks like a fire character dealing non-fire damage when a pure element attack up summon won't.

No and you can get 4* from mana draws, though if you use ax characters, instead of using some 4* axe just use the 2* tomahawk because having range makes them near invincible and lets them counter even mages/gunners/archers.

Is the localization this fucked up in the whole game?
For those thinking of doing the Hell difficulty boss in new world, you need at least 3 level 20 SRs and at least one heal/lifesteal. Preferably low cd skills (like Kite) to hit the boss out of her counter-move. Pretty difficult for a day1 boss but I think I should be able to do it consistently if I keep playing.

The whole shitstorm doesn't make much sense to me. Nips bitching about gacha is like the funniest complain ever as the concept itself is heavily based on luck, and as long chances are the same as advertised, they have no room for complain.
I mean, yeah Eustace and Beatrix rate were calculated as 15% and Anchira was around 3%, but I fail to see where cygames claimed it would be exactly the same, just because there is a rate up.
I'm quite surprised there is a outrage, despite 3% for any SSR is already bad already, so expecting a limited character to have the same rate up as other 2 characters is puzzling beyond belief.
I mean, it isn't like Anila was any better than Anchira, but nips suddenly woke up, which makes the situation even more hilarious.
Are the rolls made with gold in Game of Dice worth anything? I've been playing fora few days and mostly rolled dice fragments with gems.

The problem was she was advertised as rate up, people rolled for her early, then they were told AFTER they blew their metaphorical loads on rolls that they were rolling with a reduced rate. That's bad enough, but then Cygames offered no compensation and tried to play it off like it never happened. And that's the part that caused the shitstorm.

What people doesn't seem to realize is that both Beatrix and Eustace has 15% chance regarding when a SSR drops, and Anchira has 3% chance regarding the same instance.
Considering that every other characters AND summon in the SSR pool, it is "indeed" a rate up for those 3.
I will give an extreme example, but let's assume you have 30 SSR in a gacha that drops 1 at 3% rate. That means you have in total 0.1% chance to get the 1 SSR you want (since the other 2.9% is taken by the 29 other SSR). If the rate for that character is set at 0.2%, that is -still- a rate UP even though the rate is abysmal.
Anchira definitely has a lower drop rate than beatrix and Eustace, but she definitely has a slightly higher probability than any other SSR.
Anchira is a limited character after all, and the same shit happened with Anila, so it is quite silly from them to bitch about Anchira, whereas it is an inherent issue with gacha and specific loot.
The one complain I can't argue against is the very vicious cross fate addition for Anchira with SSR Anila. That one stuff is a bitch move from cygames, no doubt.
