Given the recent popularity of Metal Slug threads, and this year being the 20th anniversary, why not give it a try?
Can't think of a /name/ because /msg/ is already taken.

Get the roms from emuparadise.me
For Metal Slug 1-5 get the MAME roms, the NeoGeo bios and the latest MAME build.
For Metal Slug 6 get the MAME rom and play it in Demul.
For Metal Slug 7, skip the rubbish DS version, get Metal Slug XX for PSP and play it on PPSSPP.

Metal Slug 1st Mission and 2nd mission for NeoGeo Pocket. Play them with NeoPop.
Metal Slug Advance for GameBoy Advance. play it with Visual Boy Advance.
