Skyforge is a very different kind of MMORPG, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and Allods. It's about immortals and gods in a sci-fi/fantasy futuristic world with heavy greco-roman influences.

No traditional "leveling system", instead there's a Prestige system, your godly power-level measurement, which unlocks new content. A fine breath of fresh air in a stagnant industry of copycats.
The combat is similar to Blade N Soul: not a traditional tab-target, but not quite real action like TERA/BDO.
There are open zones, solo/3/5 man instances, 10 man raids & PvP.

There's a weekly limit to how much you can grind; can't wallet warrior your way to glory, just to cap faster.

Thought about trying this game again. But it doesn't look like it's received a major update since it's release, and this is like the first general I found in a week or looking.

They really made a good class system, because your able to try the actual classes but you can't use them until you've already done a few hundred missions.

I've played in tons of legitimately dead MMOs before, and Skyforge is fine.
It probably won't grow to be as massive as even TERA, but it's decent enough to find parties for things and people to bait in region chat.

Warbros recruitment has recommenced on NA. The Ether Projector THREE is now finished allowing resistances up to 700, and all obelisks have been upgraded to rank3. A4 DOWN! Beat it with 8 people, clutched hard. On to the B distortions at 105k, we'll still have to attune people to A4 but it should be simpler now.

Once you reach a certain prestige they show up half the time. On the plus side they drop battle fervor which increases your damage for 1 minute, on the down side you have to be careful when mega-kiting them because they have abilities which can one-shot you and are hard to read if you aren't watching them exclusively.
I hate how some animations are feminine.
They don't make a separate animation for males, but whatever, my immortal looks fabulous here.

Gunner's really more about stats than anything else. You need your dual-stat Purple rings, you need your temples, you need as many patrons as you can manage.
As long as you have the missile talents it doesn't matter what else you pick (actually it does matter for what you do in your downtime and there are a few different options, but if all you have as gunner is your burst then you're probably carrying your weight).
Aim for 50 Temper, 60 Accuracy.
