Basically, everything is really expensive because gaia staff went full jew and made it so you can literally get a shit ton of gold from gaia cash which you could imagine turned the economy to shit.
The benefit is if you come back after a hiatus and you had some rare items they could potentially be worth a lot of gold so sell 'em before shit deflates.

Surprisingly enough I met someone who still uses Gaia, the second I toldherI had 3 accounts loaded with monthly collectibles, the first thingsheasked was if I needed them and if I was willing to give it away.
But holy shit, the economy now rivals that of post WW1 Germany.

The only problem with it is that you'll pm an offer for an item to someone when they're offline and after sometime, maybe the next day you check they're profile and it says they were online but they didn't reply to your offer.
