Pinya's popularity was that of a Hollywood star. Cygames helped a lot and also made the carriage trolley.
Whereas Cinderella events use the entire stage to give a show, Million events focus on touching events brought forth by people.
The events have always been about not forcing the performers to be the characters, like through appearance and how they speak, though they certainly won't stop them. The idols are more like stands that the VAs bring forth. Million Live events were more about seeing the performers first rather than feeling the characters.

Since there wasn't something like and ending status for the girls, their goals and life views were rather vague. So they focused on adding more details, which was continued in Starlight Stage. They put various details in areas such as the ED to show them interacting in various ways. The CG anime took much more time to work with because of the finer details not being in place.
Starlight Stage's 346 is different from the anime's, especially given that the producer is different. In that sense, it's a parallel world. It doesn't serve to complement the anime like the Magic Hours and No Makes.
